It's possible, but Jermar Johnson is pretty damn good.  Not as fast as Chris Evans but he ran for more than 2000 yards at Oregon State.  He also possesses great vision and more power than Chris.  He could excel in a zone running scheme, which I believe the Lions are.  I predict Jermar makes his way up the depth chart to RB2 by the end of the season.

And Evans was picked before Johnson so the lions didn’t pass over Evans. They saw a 4th or 5th round talent available in the 7th and they drafted him. I like the pick. He was certainly more productive than Evans. I’m not sure whose fault that is.

Odd that they didn’t include the late TD against FSU.

The video overall is a bit sad. There are appearances by so many players who transferred out. And there is absolute stompings of the likes of Rutgers and even Penn State. And now....?

True he lost a season due to his own transgression, but it just seems like so many really good players come through and go on and never really made an impact.

His Florida State run will always be the play that I’ll always remember him for. That was the play that put Michigan up with barely any time left after Michigan was down the entire game. Despite no Peppers and losing Butt to an injury, they were gonna pull it out thanks to his awesome run.

Then FSU dropped the hammer and started the current bowl losing streak.

Like many players, he’s another “what if?” Case, but I think he is in a great landing spot in Cincinnati. He’s a late rounder, but he’s on a team where his position lacks depth, and the current RB is injury prone. If he plays his cards right, he’s gonna be in a real position to succeed.

Yes ad I logged in just to make a similar comment.

I just re-watched that run to take the lead against FSU with just under two minutes on the clock.  I was hopeful we would see more of that going forward from that moment.  (And then Harbaugh demonstrated that Michigan would forego the two minute drill, tempo, and scripting for the foreseeable future.)
