We all assume the raiders would even want harbaugh. We don't know that and bc they're in the Bay Area they may hear a lot more about harbaughs issues with the front office and players and they may think he's not as great as we do. They might pursue gruden (I know i know but he was the last coach to have success there) or Rex Ryan or someone else ahead of harbaugh. And if harbaugh has to move anyway....

If I'm not mistaken Gruden said the only job he'd go back to the sidelines for was Oakland ... I know that sounds crazy but Woodson basically said the same thing and proved it by going back.

Must not suck right now, your NFL team doesn't really want you but many others spans on top of that you can name your price and go to MICHIGAN at any time.

Why do I get the sense we are gonna be let down again and we get nothing once again!!! Hope I'm wrong cause I would rather have hoke then a reach of a coach.

People here keep mentionng how Jack Harbaugh has been saying if offered JH would take the job. Can someone point me to that thread? I've googled and used the custom site search and I can't find what people seem to be referring to.

I don't remember the specific thread, but I think the information was taken from a 247 board iirc. It basically said just that, that Jack made a statement claiming Jim would take the job if offered. This was posted shortly after the DB firing. I don't recall ever seeing any kind of confirmation of the quote or specific source, so it is probably safe to chalk it up to pure rumor and speculation.

If the 49rs gig plays out poorly and he, miracle of miracles, decides to head to A2 and right the ship, i will have a shot of Woodford and toast my Rams for playing at least a small role in moving him out the SanFran door...mmm ahhh smooth, slow burn..
