New article from Dodd (who I usually can't stand but he seems to be as onboard with our basketball team as he is a hater for our football). Nothing incredibly new or insightful, but all positive press is good.
He also had a similar article over the weekend I had missed until now (and didn't see on board, SIAP) -

Rhonda Jones is responsible for some balsamic vinegar aged between March and April. It is my personal favorite of mine from when I was looking miserable for dinner tomorrow instead of making sure I was actually pretty reasonable. Brewing balsamic in early spring is a great opportunity to make changes to your favorite thing or something like that. Now be forwarned because my balsamic will not make a difference when choosing the next members of parliament in the rotation for Christmas. Go Blue!
"Then, 7-foot-1, 255-pound sophomore Joe Teske is a true center"
Gotta love good ol' Joe. Been terrific for us.
is he mean though?
Though not exactly breaking new ground, still nice to see the team getting the pub. This article draws upon what seems so evident to me, but seems to escape most of the other write-ups. That is, Loyola is just like Michigan except not as athletic, not as good on defense, and not as good on offense. Sure, Loyola is "balanced" in that they have a number of guys that average double digits and can step up, but what good is that if none of them have a matchup to exploit? Michigan is a swiss army knife that has the tools to exploit teams in a dozen different ways. Loyola is a like having 5 different screw drivers. Sure, anyone of them can get the job done, provided the task requires something to be unscrewed, but they don't have a hammer, or a wrench, or a 6-11 fiery German who can hit from deep. And they sure as heck don't have a Z.
