I don’t think we need him to handle the ball a lot and really be responsible for running the offense, but both he and Nunez can shoot the ball.  Right now our perimeter shooting may be capping how much damage this team can do.  It is the very atypical freshman who has a rounded game right away, but those guys can knock down shots and that is an obvious need.

I know this sounds weak and the players could probably care less, but I don't want to play in Columbus in the 1st and 2nd rounds.  You know local fans will be coming out to watch the games and I just don't want to deal with that moronic fan base more than I have to.

Syracuse just lost to Virginia Tech by 22. Two weeks ago Georgia Tech beat them by 14 in the Carrier Dome. Syracuse lost to Buffalo. They lost to Old Dominion.

Not saying you're wrong, but lots of commenters have only seen the MSU & Duke upsets. On a game-to-game basis, Syracuse isn't as good as those two showings.

I believe "Parity" is the #1 overall seed this year. Anyone can beat anyone like never before. The teams with the best chances are the teams that can win offensively in a variety of ways and play solid "D". Here, I would pick Virginia and Michigan to have the best odds of weathering mediocre offensive nights against lower seeds and still winning...and this "weathering" is a big deal...that is how Michigan ended up in the final game last year. That and Poole's ridiculous shot!!!

In general -- Would you rather be a #1 Seed in the East or #2 Seed in Midwest?

This is also not knowing Duke would be the #1 Seed in the Midwest -- obviously would rather play Kentucky.

No way I would want to see Syracuse in Michigan’s bracket. Syracuse can beat anyone when you have to play that zone on short rest.

I know it's a long way to March but seeing that is just incredible to me.  I figured we could win a title under Beilein.  The man has his teams ready to go in March but usually it's from a bubble to an "ok, you're in take the 4 seed over there" type of seeding.  But to be a #1 overall seed?  When was the last time Michigan was ranked like that?  I know it won't last but it's still awesome to see.
