Unfortunately people look at box scores and see Ferguson, Allen, and Hendershot over 500 yards receiving and chalk that up to being the best TEs.

All's blocking is 2nd to none at the TE spot, but the WRs and TEs will struggle to win awards due to lower volume and spreading the ball around/not being the clear mismatch for the offense to rely upon.

It would be nice to see more of Michigan's players on these lists, but I think they'd all agree that being #1 in the Big Ten after Saturday night is more important than some arbitrary, meaningless award.

ANN ARBOR (AP)

Michigan starting quarterback Care McNamara was selected to the All-Big Ten 3rd team today.  "To be honest, accolades don't really mean much," said McNamara in a phone interview.

"I didn't come here to get 3rd team all-conference, I came here to beat Ohio State and to go from cyan to dangerman on MGoBlog's film breakdown, and that's pretty much what I play for, and we accomplished that. Credit to Seth and Alex for that."

This might be the most loaded I have seen the B1G with offensive skill talent in a while. First of all since not every Ohio State player made first team, and then for Payton Thorne who was very solid who sounds like only got honorable mention is pretty crazy. Also that list of running backs and receivers is just excellent. I don’t think anyone quite to the level of Jonathan Taylor or Dobbins, but top to bottom really solid. For Corum, even with the missed games to make 3rd team is pretty wild with as good as he is, also Goodson had almost 1300 yards and doesn’t make top 3 team RB pretty wild.  Also even more so if the Minnesota guy hadn’t missed all year. For a year when so many have been saying this is a bad BiG10, I think this is a very impressive list of players.

Fitting that that graphic is almost cyan. I like to think somewhere in the B1G graphics department, they're doing a spiritual troll of Seth. :)

This is a spicy take! I would absolutely do that, especially Stroud. He is at another level.

What you think should happen at QB next year if JJ makes a bigger offseason leap than Cade does? That's not a given, but I would say the offseason is likely to make a bigger difference for the true Freshman.

There are many selections that seem off to me but the most inaccurate to me is Rasheed Walker from Penn State making third team OT.  The nicest thing I can say is he is not good.
