Meh second half.
Hope Smith is okay.

Second half lack of production is a bit concerning (or at least a bit curious). Harbaugh ease up? Or did BYU defense adjust? Or did Rudock revert to some bad habits?

Agreed. Rudock was way, way overconservative in the second half. Didn't take any chances downfield, even when there was a clear play to make. Didn't want to add to his interception total.

Have to disagree with your assertion that Lloyd couldnt execute it. 1997 was the blueprint for winning with a game manager at QB, a good running game and dominant defense.

By my count, 124 yards offense in second half; 58 rush, 66 passing.
1st half -- 324 yards offense; 196 rush, 128 passing.

Hats off to the OL and Rudock. Great to see the entire offense improve week to week.

I mean, they put on a clinic up to the point that the game was well in hand. I think it's safe to say at this point that Harbaugh has no interest in trying and revealing more of his playbook once the game is in hand. UNLV was a snoozefest from start to finish and Harbaugh shut down the offense today at halftime

As long as Smith is okay, we need to keep giving him the rock. That long one looked like something Fournette would do. Rudock wasn't perfect, but he was the game manager we needed today.

Rudock is on track. I am not worried about the second half. Vanilla playcalling in 2nd half. The team looked good. Hope Smith is ok. We need his beast mode.
Harbaugh is not into running up the score. Probably did the same last game. We all freaked out for no reason. So, I am not going to freak out about the second half.
This game was a measuring stick and we came through with flying colors. WE ARE GOOD!!!

Fun fact...
Michigan has now rushed for 732 yards and 10 TDs in its last three games.

Last year, we had 1794 rush yards with 17 TDs. A fun pool would be to guess in which game we blow past those numbers. My guess is the TD total will be surpassed during the NW game.

I think the second half felt very 'meh', but I think Michigan was just playing it safe and avoiding turnovers. Overall I think the offense is good enough to win a lot of games with our awesome D

I think you might be right, but being conservative with a 31 point lead is okay for me. A pick 6 would have been the worst possible thing. Their offense was not going to do anything against us.

The second half was pure Tresselball, and I loved being in the position to do that. No concerns there.

w/ his pointing out that stat. Compliments both our D and Ruddock making plays from nothing.

That is the Rudock that I expected. His mistakes were taking a 5 yard gain (or incompletion) instead of the 25 yard gain. I can live with that, that is what we signed up for with him and it's all we need when our defense is playing like that.
