Even if this team can make the playoffs, they’ll be out in the first round every year. What’s the point in that? Light the fire, burn it to the ground, start over. Would’ve been much easier without Griffin’s ridiculous contract.
Both Dantonio and Izzo have spoken to the media since the story came out, and neither one has mentioned victims or survivors of crimes or accusations against their own players. They talk about sympathy and support for the victims of Nassar, but no sympathy for the other women in these reports. Man up and admit there is a problem. Also, I was completely shocked by Dantonio saying MSU is a safe place while responding to a question that asked what he would say to parents of daughters who wanted to attend MSU.
Why should he have to shave, are they going to require him to wear a respirator or SCUBA gear? Facial hair and the direction of your hat have nothing to do with being a good coach.
As of this morning, up to 7 potential transfers of starting caliber players if there is room in the roster. Patterson, Little, and Jefferson would make a huge difference in this team offensively.
The best, and most competitive, players are never worried about competition or having to win a job. Look at Alabama’s ability to pull in 5 star players at any position. Get all the talented players on your roster that you can, and let them fight for playing time. If he wants to transfer to UM, and our coaching staff wants him, let him come in and compete.
It was a great weekend. Started the drive up from Houston at about 5 a.m. on Saturday. Got to the Sheraton Ft Worth and immediately heard "Go Blue" in the lobby. Then I noticed several young men and women wearing the same Michigan gear, and it donned on me, we were staying at the same hotel as the greatest band in all the land. High fives were shared. Didn't have a bad experience with a Florida fan all weekend, they all seemed just as happy to be there as we were. Had a great steak at Cattlemens in the Stock Yards Saturday night after the game, and no traffic either way commuting to and from the game. I'd love to see another neutral site game there. Great experience overall.
Absolutely, it was great. Up and down the stairs, in the concourses, and outside waiting in line to get in the MDen tent. Before the game people were chanting, "It's great to be, a Florida Gator." It sounded terrible, I had to laugh.
True. But I think the most impressive thing about this run is the fact he spins out of a tackle twice, fairly close together, and he didn't seem to slow down much or be off balance after either one.
Bo, Michigan football camp '95. Jerry Rice at the Atlanta airport. Bill Laimbeer and Scott Mitchell when I worked at Wendy's in Clio as a kid. Braylon at a Pistons game a couple weeks after he got drafted. Steven Segal at the Red Lobster in Flushing. Gary Moeller in the weight room at SVSU.
Had a Rottweiler for 14 years named Unit. She was the most gentle best behaved dog I've ever been around. Awesome with kids and other pets. We got another Rott female last year that we named Maize. Another very sweet, cuddle loving dog. Great family dogs.
They still have their throwback uniforms and released pics of them last night. The all grey are the color rush uniforms teams have been wearing on Thursday Night Football the last couple years.
Barry, Bo, and Calvin are great and obvious choices. I didn't go through every comment, but a guy I didn't notice listed was Derrick Thomas, absolute freak of a pass rusher.
I feel like we hear things like this every year about certain prospects. Remember that scouts and GM's tend to circulate information they hope will benefit them in the long run. A whole bunch of rumors will go around about teams being concerned about something random and then the guy gets picked in the top 10. First round picks are all about potential, how high their ceiling could be. This particular player has a metric shit ton of potential.

ND lost their OL coach as well, huge loss.
They also lost their OL coach, to the Bears. That might be a bigger loss for them in the long run. He’s developed some damn good players there.
Definitely less. I used the app 99% of the time.
