Bush, Wormley, & Charlton on the Field for Steelers
January 16th, 2022 at 9:00 PM ^
Yes, and I noticed Devin named his high school. Zach and Chris, UofM.
January 16th, 2022 at 9:40 PM ^
You’ll be seeing Jim on Sundays again pretty soon, too.
:(

I think I know why you were exiled...
January 17th, 2022 at 11:47 AM ^
Just ban this twat already.
January 16th, 2022 at 10:43 PM ^
Pretty sure they all record that once for the entire season and lots of players pick something other than their University. It's a nothing burger.
January 17th, 2022 at 12:03 PM ^
Is Zach Taco's real name?
January 17th, 2022 at 1:08 PM ^
Zach Gentry, Steelers starting tight end.
January 16th, 2022 at 9:00 PM ^
Don't forget Gentry on Pittsburgh's offense.
January 16th, 2022 at 9:02 PM ^
Beat me to it. Anyway, I'll root for the Steelers!
January 16th, 2022 at 10:07 PM ^
Maize and blue. The only color combination superior to black and gold. I mean, who didn't love the steel curtain defense? Or the "we-are-fam.a.lee" Pirates? Or Cindy Crosby?
January 16th, 2022 at 10:33 PM ^
A couple of years ago Matt Tomlin talked about what a quality program Michigan is and how they produce quality players.
January 16th, 2022 at 9:01 PM ^
Zach Gentry's also in the game for the Steelers.
January 16th, 2022 at 9:03 PM ^
Danna playing for the Chiefs.
January 16th, 2022 at 9:05 PM ^
Is Frank Clark also playing for the Chiefs? I see him on their roster.
January 16th, 2022 at 9:26 PM ^
Yes. He was announced as a starter and named Michigan as his school.
January 16th, 2022 at 9:07 PM ^
Chad Henne too, right? Won them a game last year.
January 17th, 2022 at 12:52 AM ^
Well he wasn't technically on the field. Had way better seats than the rest of us though. He's living that good Chase Daniel life. Good for Chad.
January 16th, 2022 at 9:10 PM ^
JH compared Aidan to TJ or JJ? Can't remember but I hope he turns out to be as good as these guys. Awesome players.
January 17th, 2022 at 8:38 AM ^
As a fan of both Michigan and the Steelers, Aidan totally reminds me of TJ.
January 17th, 2022 at 12:05 PM ^
Seems to me like TJ is a little quicker. Both relentless though.
January 16th, 2022 at 9:31 PM ^
In other playoff games, the NFL admitted that the Boger refereeing crew screwed up in the Bengals vs Raiders game but didn't take the blame for their failure to promptly correct it from NFL headquarters.
Then today,
1) The GOAT was an efficient 29-37 with two TD passes/zero interceptions as the Bucs beat Philly 31-15; and
2) DOWN GOES DALLAS!!! DOWN GOES DALLAS!!! DOWN GOES DALLAS!!! ...as the Cowboys shoot themselves in the foot as the clock expires. Other than osu/msu, no other team I'd rather have suffer how that agonizing defeat ended.
January 16th, 2022 at 10:00 PM ^
The Lions-Cowboys playoff game in 2015 still overrides any feelings I might have to root for them in a playoff setting. I still cannot recall a (very correctly called) PI flag being picked up since then. Now I’m back to being a typical sore-loser Lions fan and rooting for anyone to beat Rodgers and GB.
January 16th, 2022 at 10:23 PM ^
That ended my die-hard Lions fandom. It has been a great last 7 seasons. Can get a lot done on Sundays now.
January 17th, 2022 at 9:49 AM ^
The Patricia regime killed my fandom. The way they blew the season opener in 2020 to Chicago ended it for me. I still cheer for them, but the emotional investment is minimal. I can't get wrapped up in the affairs of billionaires making money off of everyday folks with a substandard product.
January 17th, 2022 at 12:49 AM ^
The officials in the Bengals-Raiders game were hilariously bad. They made the crew working the state game this season look competent-ish.
January 16th, 2022 at 9:44 PM ^
Unfortunately, the Steelers also have Matt Canada calling plays on offense. There are better OCs in high school.
January 16th, 2022 at 10:49 PM ^
It doesn’t help that Ben Rothlesburger (sp?) appears to be mailing it in tonight. A great defense coupled to mess of an offense — no line, QB…
January 17th, 2022 at 7:13 AM ^
Big Ben’s arm is shot, he used to have a .40 cal and now it’s a Saturday night special. He can’t get the ball to the receivers on time. Hall of Famer that stayed 1 year too late, common tale.
January 17th, 2022 at 9:56 AM ^
His numbers weren't far off his 2020 numbers (or his career average). TDs were down but everything else was similar to 2020. Hopefully they can get a QB in there because Mason Rudolph won't lead them to the playoffs.
January 16th, 2022 at 9:45 PM ^
Big Ben with a total of 14 yards passing. Definately the last game of his carreer...
January 16th, 2022 at 9:47 PM ^
Several drops by receivers though.
January 16th, 2022 at 10:21 PM ^
It’s amazing he’s still doing it at all and helped them make the playoffs.
What is even more amazing is that Brady is 5 years older and led the league in passing yards.
January 17th, 2022 at 12:51 AM ^
Ben Roethlisberger is the oldest quarterback I've ever seen.
January 17th, 2022 at 3:46 AM ^
Long career of hits. Earned his retirement.
January 17th, 2022 at 11:09 AM ^
You may have heard of Tom Brady who is 4 1/2 years older and Drew Brees who retired last year a couple years older than Ben is now.
Ben took a lot of hits with his style of play and is now playing like his body has run out of gas. Great career and most likely HOF with 2 SB wins out of 3 appearances, never had a losing season in 18 years, 3rd most playoff yards (but less than half of Brady's), etc., etc.
January 17th, 2022 at 7:33 PM ^
I am aware of both Tom Brady and Drew Brees. It was an attempt at a joke. As a gluten for punishment Bengals fan for the last 20 years I have suffered many times at the hand of Big Ben and very much enjoyed his below average play at the end of his career. I agree he is a sure fire hof'er who took a beating like few QB's ever have during his career. And I enjoyed that as a Bengals fan.
January 18th, 2022 at 2:08 PM ^
I got the joke even before you explained it!
January 17th, 2022 at 12:36 PM ^
A miracle he's been able to play this long. That dude's knees have been held together with tape and glue for years.
January 16th, 2022 at 9:46 PM ^
The Chiefs took over in the 2nd quarter, and I didn't see the Michigan players involved very much. Rather, there were a lot of wide open KC receivers and good throws to them by Mahomes.
January 16th, 2022 at 10:30 PM ^
Frank Clark did a thing
January 16th, 2022 at 9:53 PM ^
Ben looked done a couple years ago. Not sure if he truly believed he could still play at a championship level or just wanted the money (which is fine), but he has looked awful for awhile—especially as compared to Brady, who is older and still looks pretty much like the same guy he has been for years.
January 16th, 2022 at 10:07 PM ^
I know Big Ben wears a rib protector pad under his jersey but I’ve always felt like he’s had a bit of a belly. Is that just me?
January 17th, 2022 at 11:35 AM ^
I think he was ready to call it quits, but the team really didn't have any better options and hoped that they could get a couple more years out of him. Unless the Steelers hit pay dirt with a QB in the draft like they did with Ben, it could get tough in the Steel City for a while.
January 16th, 2022 at 10:19 PM ^
This Steelers team has to be the worst offensive team I have ever seen in the playoffs
January 17th, 2022 at 11:37 AM ^
I have to say that the play calling reminded me of 2020 UM. Multiple 3rd and 2 opportunities in the first half and they choose to throw a slant when they have one of the best young RBs in the league.
January 16th, 2022 at 10:19 PM ^
Frank Clark with a big fumble recovery. Game has turned into a KC rout.
January 16th, 2022 at 10:22 PM ^
Chad Henne time?
6 different wolverines playing in a game, may be some record?
January 16th, 2022 at 10:49 PM ^
Been a KC fan since the early 90s, when they had a tough defense and Steve DeBerg/Joe Montana were QB's. Fun to have Andy Reid as coach for his innovative formations and playcalls on offense. And love beating the Steelers and Bills in the AFC!
January 17th, 2022 at 3:48 AM ^
Go Blue!
January 17th, 2022 at 7:45 AM ^
Big Ben’s final completion was to Zach Gentry. Fitting that the QB turned TE showed a little flash of skill at the end.
