That's a nice sentiment that some Michigan fans would hold. But Ronnie Bell is not the best WR on either Michigan or Ohio St. He's a 2nd stringer who has done about as well as you could expect from a 2nd stringer filling in for injured 1st stringers. Mike Sainristil is ahead of where Bell was when he was a freshman. And he made a fantastic catch last week. Even he is likely a better WR than Ronnie Bell. But it's unpopular to say what I am saying. So very few will say it.

Turns out that was an idiotic statement by Gerdeman at the time (it was from Jan 2018). Obviously Bell is a kid who slipped through the cracks because he was focusing on basketball and didn't hit the football camp circuit. Anybody who watched his senior year HS film could see that he was a baller and had a good chance of success at the college level. Great find by JH and the staff.

This dude is a complete moron. This season Ronnie Bell has 37 receptions for 616 yards and a 16.6 yard average per catch. He has more receiving yards then ANY buckeye receiver and his 616 yards is 11th in the Big Ten and his 16.6 average is 9th in the Big Ten. Dude needs to check the stats out before commenting
