Honestly think this is for the best. Peters has taken big shots each game, would rather let him get more rest, play the bowl game, and hit the ground running to compete vs McCaffrey next year.

Here’s hoping JOK has the game of his life. As this is his last official college game, here’s hoping!

It's for the best. If he just got cleared, I'd still be leery about sending him out for more shots. I also don't really think he's the difference between a win or a loss in a game like this.

Sounds like umbig11 and Sam Webb were told to lock it up. JUB on the Michigan Insider sounded pretty damn confident until Sam quickly shut him down. Someone reliable told JUB that Peters will play. I believe him. (/puts tinfoil hat back on)

Exactly. If he's cleared to play, why wouldnt he? The team had to know what's at stake. Protect the QB because he's the only one playing well enough to give a chance at winning.

I was under the impression that being cleared from concussion protocol meant you were no longer at the higher risk of injury. If this is true then there isn't really a reason to leave him out. It's not like he's playing with a broken brain.

If this ISN'T the case, I'd hope the people wanting to keep him out would be more outraged that our doctors have cleared an injured and seriously at risk kid to play.

Can't adopt an entirely new scheme in 1 week. Hard to do even in a Spring plus Fall camp.

And besides, which guy on the current staff knows that kind of offense? No one.

But, it would be great to see maybe 6 plays (within the current scheme) that they installed this week that might work with O'Korn or better fit his abilities.
