I can not see Winovich not returning. Another year here will do him well and he must know the potential for next season. He’s coming back. I think we will actually be fine next year at QB. We were nice with Peters, we gotta roll with him.
You cant look back at a game 3 months later and say "yeah that was a big game" we arent talking about good wins. no one will disagree that psu was a good win. We are talking about big games which psu wasnt at the time
Going into the game, no one thoiught that it was a big game. You cant look back at a game 3 months later and say "yeah that was a big game" we arent talking about good wins. no one will disagree that psu was a good win. We are talking about big games which psu wasnt at the time
Fuck night games, total bullshit and we lose the majority of them, even at home! Not using it as an excuse at all but if yesterdays game was at noon, I think we win
This is about experience, not fixing all our problems overnight. Sure, the OL and WR were trash. Why not find out how much was on them and how much was on the QBs. We have nothing to lose from Peters starting. If he plays terribly then it is just like the first 5 games of the year. If we plays well then that would be a big deal. What is there to lose?
Then why are they able to win almost all their games during the day but are 2-4 at night? You think that’s coincidental? I sure do not think so, a good team wins these kind of games where things aren’t going their way but they find a way to win. This team hasn’t shown they could do that at all. It’s not coincidence we lose these close road games.
The lack of effort to try to pump the fans (and the team up) was very confusing to me. As dumb as it may sound, pom poms etc would have rallied the crowd up even more. That being said, the crowd should have (and they were for the most part) loud as it was a rivalry game at night in the big house.
Oh yes, I agree. This is such a wasted year with such a great, championship caliber defense that just has to sit and watch the offense shit the bed every drive. Must be very frustrating for the veteran defensive players especially.
Not bringing up any excuses at all. I am just pointing the fact that UM has been ass in night games even since Harbaugh got here. Not an excuse, its a fact. It does need to be fixed but we need better offensive coaches first and foremost to even make it to a championship game of any sort
Do you put any blame on the D to not force any turnovers especially in that rain and wind? I think they did their part and i am putting the loss fully on the offense.
Early in the game there seemed to be hype and energy from UM. After that fumble early on, the momentum shifted a lot and MSU had it for the rest of the first half. However, that shows a weak team.. one that folds at the first sign of a tough game and adversity
Good teams come through late in close games.. Bad sign with the horrendous record we have in close games. On the other hand, it is positive almost all our losses have been close games.
okay come on now, i know everyone is upset but its easy to see both sides. obviously harbaugh isnt on the hot seat but there are tons of things that he needs to shape up quickly

They should love and want to coach every game the same no matter what time it is at. Embarrassing statements from them
Not very. Hopefully Mccaffrey turns out to be that the coaches make him sound like.
Bush should definitely be on it... anyone else is eh
I just want him at Michigan... all i want

why, yes. we are a shitty offense
no... they are a problem but certainly not the biggest. it is the oline
If Mccaffrey pans out, he SHOULD be that guy. Hopefully thats the case because if not, there will be a major problme at QB for the foreseeable future

I would rather Peters or Mccaffrey learn and get experience now than next year when we have a great roster.
Peters or Mccaffrey should take over this year. I agree that Mccaffrey is thin but he is the most talented option.
You're really projecting them to beat Penn St after what just happened a couple hours ago? Michigan's offense might give up 7 themselves

Yes and it cannot be coincidence. Do they over think these games? Do they try to do too much? Is it hard for them to focus with the bigger atmosphere?
fixed, my mistake
