His indicator of prospect contact has been spot on. He told us Hand wasn't coming. He told us McDowell wasn't coming. IMHO he has done a great job of tempering expectations long before any of us wanted to believe we were out of the running for these guys.

The depth and volume of updates and front page posts is definitely appreciated by me. As I mentioned in a thread last night, I really started following recruiting in earnest when I stepped into the mod role here and his work has helped me keep abreast of who is on the watch list regardless of their relative chances of coming to Michigan. I read them when they appear and they are rather informative.

Don't heap too much praise on him. Everytime we get a good recruiting guy (Steve, Tom) someone comes along and snatches them up.

Never thought I'd see the day where I get an appreciation thread but thanks for those who appreciate what I do. Just trying to bring the info I have.
For the record I was wrong on Hand. After he chose Alabama, I did say that he had stopped talking to me and that I should've paid closer attention to it, but I don't believe that how predictions are supposed to work, haha.

you had noted however that those who end up not committing exhibited the same behavior as Hand did. that's what I internalized. And I do recall you resolving to pay attention to that behavior going forward.

I for one am happy for ALL you do on this board...good look with Hand,although I thought MM would be part of the 2014 class.
