Feels like the end of an era. I know Rodgers is still around and is somewhat a part of this group, but the era of Brady, Brees, Manning, and Rothlisberger was truly a great one. Maybe the best in the sport’s history.

The page has officially turned, and it seems like the torch has now officially been passed to Mahomes, Burrow, Allen and Jackson to lead the new generation.

Thanks for the memories, Brady. Going to be a long time before anyone can put seven Super Bowl rings on their fingers. I hope no one else ever will.

Incredible.

I have to man-crush for a moment.

TB has his flaws, he's human.

However, to see somebody find a way to win so consistently, get the best out of others without being an amazing physical specimen in such a brutal sport, gave hope to any athlete.

You CAN be a champion.

He defined the phrase "Let's Go!"

Come home to Michigan Football Tom, we luv you man.

Go Blue!

PS - how great is it that the best defensive player (Woodson) and offensive player (Brady) ever are both from Michigan Football ?

During the dark times, Tom Brady and Charles Woodson kept Michigan Football’s tradition of excellence alive through their play in the NFL. I’ve never felt more pride in the Maize and Blue than I did when Tom came back after all the Super Bowls and MVPs and talked so passionately to our team about how much it meant to him to be the quarterback at the University of Michigan and how much work it took to get there. Go Blue forever.

Tom has been vocal many times about his goal to play until he was 45. He achieved it.

Although I wish his marriage would have survived; I am under the impression more conflicts existed than just him wanting to play longer.

Ha!  I see what you did there.

On a more serious note, one thing I did notice is how isolated Tom was from his teammates over the last few games.  Nobody sat next to him on the bench when the camera turned to him.

He didn't celebrate TDs passes with the players... just walked off the field.

When Russell Gage was taken off the field and players were milling around him, Tom was quite separated from his teammates.

Man, what a career he has had.

When he played here, I thought he might be a 3rd rounder (especially in his performance versus Bama in the bowl game), but really thought he'd be more of a career back up...with some spot duty and even some good runs.

Never thought he'd be the Goat though...
