Brady is a winning person. He surrounds himself with winning people. And people that get him become winners too.

Half man. Half god. He’s certainly looked mortal at times, and you can beat him. But it takes a masterful game plan executed to perfection.

He’s Hercules. Achilles. Beowulf. Hector. King Arthur. Theseus. Kratos. Insert other mythological figure here. Born amongst mortals, but conceived by the gods.

There are some people in life who, despite their mediocre talent, are constantly put in positions to take credit for the success of others. Tom Brady is one of those people.

You know this same Bucs team went 7-9 last year, right? They were rudderless, hopeless, had no idea how to be winners, and had Jameis Winston coughing up games week after week. Worst of all, they were irrelevant. Nobody cared about them. Didn’t love them or hate them. They were like the Jags. They were just kind of there.

Brady changed ALL of that. He raised the game for the entire organization. From the starters, to the scouts, to the coaches, the GM, the owners, even the friggin janitors at One Buc Place. Whatever they were all doing before he got there, none of it was good enough. He blew everything up and rebuilt them all into his own image. A team of determined winners.

Kudos to the Bucs front office for going balls to the wall to go get him. They recognized the deep-seeded cultural problem they had, and how a guy like Brady could fix it. Even after this, Brady will refuse to let this team rest in its laurels. They’ll party for a week, and then next week it’s right back to the practice facility and getting ready for ring #8.

They’ll be NFC favorites next year, possibly Super Bowl favorites, and COVID permitting, they will sell the stadium out for every game for the first time in nearly fifteen years.

Exactly. This defense isn’t what it is now without Brady.

No, he’s not calling their plays or coaching them. And Bowles deserves all the credit in the world. But Brady’s presence in the locker room and refusal to accept anything less than your absolute best has molded them into what they are.

“Brady is good and has improved so much since last season.  But his complete lack of mobility will probably make his NFL career short.”

Brady had lots of help and encouragement since 2000 but none of those people from Harden, Carr, to Belichick ever performed on the field. Brady is 100% responsible for his performance and he is the GOAT. The media hates it and so does lots of other people. 7 Super Bowl rings AND forever a part of the University of Michigan!! Go Blue!!
