Fine young man right there. The Michigan difference! Beat the Bucknuts!
November 20th, 2022 at 3:05 PM ^
Awesome to see him out and using NIL money to give back. Amazing man that we should all be proud of!
On a football note, pretty much expected him to be fine as soon as he came back out for the second half (even though he didn’t play any more after that). Ironically, it felt a lot like the injury Brown sustained last week where he was fine, but it looked real bad in the moment, almost as much from the shock factor anticipatory pain reaction than anything else.
November 20th, 2022 at 3:41 PM ^
I'm hoping and thinking the same - Chase looked fantastic against the #1 D in CFB, one week after looking injured to the point he may not play at UM. Modern physical therapy will help our guy be ready to go!
November 20th, 2022 at 3:59 PM ^
He would have looked less fantastic if our run wrecking starting DE played. He was dressed. His size is such an asset on the end against the run. Have to believe if he was bookending Jenkins (who played a lot of end yesterday) with Smith and Graham at DT things look a bit different. We took a big risk sitting so many important pieces. Very grateful it didn’t blow up in our faces. We win comfortably with Corum healthy (further illustrating his Heisman worthiness) so I get the decision to some degree. But you never know.
November 20th, 2022 at 4:27 PM ^
“We took a big risk sitting so many important pieces.”
Did we, though? Winning or losing yesterday was basically irrelevant to the ultimate goals for this season.
November 20th, 2022 at 5:13 PM ^
Uhh, what? I will disagree. If UM loses yesterday, the playoff committee buries them. Even if they then get a win against OSU, they’ll still have USC or Alabama above us. And if UM loses at OSU too, then forget about it completely. I think it matters.
November 20th, 2022 at 5:41 PM ^
If UM had lost yesterday, but went on to win against OSU and the B1G cg, they be in.
Yesterday might matter if they lose a close one to OSU or if they beat OSU but drop the B1G cg. In both those cases, they have a much better chance to make playoffs since they beat Illinois.
November 20th, 2022 at 5:18 PM ^
There is still a chance that a one loss Michigan team could still get into the playoffs.
November 20th, 2022 at 6:46 PM ^
No there isn't.
if osu wins we're out.
if osu loses they are still in
the committee is a joke. All they're looking at is talent level. That's why bama will be in reach on Tuesday. Very little of what happens during the season matters for Georgia, bama, and osu.
November 20th, 2022 at 7:28 PM ^
Hmmmm. Last year this mattered and Cincinnati got in and OSU didn’t. So, like, I think you might be wrong, man.
November 21st, 2022 at 12:51 AM ^
False. If usc win the pac and tcu wins out they will join the big and sec champs. Thus OSU would be out if they lose.
November 20th, 2022 at 6:00 PM ^
Avoiding the #4 seed and Georgia in the first could help get them a bit closer to the ultimate goal. Lose to Illinois probably puts them around 7 or 8. Beating Ohio state and winning the B1G probably gets them to 2 or 3, but it’s not a guarantee
November 21st, 2022 at 2:13 PM ^
Clarence- despite being dead you are correct!
November 20th, 2022 at 3:07 PM ^
We're going to beat the stuffing out of those Buckeyes!
November 20th, 2022 at 3:51 PM ^
💣 💥 Damn straight we are!
November 20th, 2022 at 4:06 PM ^
Any turkey pardons this year, comrade?
November 20th, 2022 at 3:07 PM ^
If he keeps carrying those turkeys like a loaf of bread, he’s gonna get one stripped by a hungry Drunk Uncle
November 20th, 2022 at 3:08 PM ^
November 20th, 2022 at 3:16 PM ^
That being the case he is a fantastic human being since he is one heck of a football player
November 20th, 2022 at 3:08 PM ^
Guy is an unbelievable human being first, and football player second.
November 20th, 2022 at 3:09 PM ^
To my eyes, perhaps a bit of a limp, yet the somewhat good news is that he is not spending the day in the trainers' room.
November 20th, 2022 at 4:01 PM ^
Thats just how you walk when you are a boss. Slow and deliberate, because no one can fuck with you.
November 20th, 2022 at 5:27 PM ^
Yeah no way he would be doing this if he had structural damage in his knee. Probably a bad bruise like Harbaugh said, and was too painful to take additional hits yesterday.
November 20th, 2022 at 7:30 PM ^
I would imagine after 20 carries in a physical football game, he’s pretty sore. When I first saw it I actually thought the limp was on the right leg.
November 20th, 2022 at 10:14 PM ^
Right?!? Took me a few seconds to figure out which leg was injured.
November 20th, 2022 at 11:55 PM ^
BC been limping the past few weeks.
November 20th, 2022 at 3:09 PM ^
I couldn't have been the only one Zaprudering that vidclip to see how his gait was when walking up to the house, right?
Regardless, I believe he's going to play and summon every last bit of strength and make us really proud of him this Saturday. I'll have to think about it, but he might be my favorite Michigan athlete in recent history: for his performance on the field, his character off the field, his association with some of the most enjoyable team moments, and (this last one is personally a huge one for me) his masterclass shit-talking of MSU. Just the complete package.

Commence hawt take limp or no limp analysis
November 20th, 2022 at 3:16 PM ^
No limp, or maybe a little one but no worse than my almost 50 yr old ass does when there’s no pain. I think if he was genuinely F’d up he’d be at the facility having voodoo done in the trainers room. Fine young man he is.
November 20th, 2022 at 3:59 PM ^
Hey look, cut the guy a break. You lug a 20 pound turkey around under one arm, cutting through linebackers and off the front steps and see how you limp…
November 20th, 2022 at 3:34 PM ^
He had a little limp consistent with a bruise. My guess is 95% by game day.
November 20th, 2022 at 3:11 PM ^
So proud that this young man represents my university.
November 20th, 2022 at 3:15 PM ^
Looks like a fair amount of snow on the ground up there.
November 20th, 2022 at 3:16 PM ^
Very proud of this guy.

Assuming NHG comes back healthy next year and fingers crossed Barrett takes his Covid year (which is a big assumption), our LB crew will be an upgrade next year. I think our D could be pretty amazing next year.
November 20th, 2022 at 3:18 PM ^
Beautiful video. Blake is such an amazing young man. Wow ! A great player and I totally believe his Dad when he says Blake is an even better person. Thanks for sharing this uplifting video !!
November 20th, 2022 at 3:25 PM ^
A gentleman. a scholar and a pretty decent football player with lots of heart. Oh, and ready for his biggest game of the season! GO BLUE!
November 20th, 2022 at 3:26 PM ^
Love to see it. Great player. Great human.
And this is much better than the way they give away turkeys in Ohio.
November 20th, 2022 at 5:19 PM ^
I’m old enough to remember that episode and it was a classic! I thought turkeys could fly.
November 20th, 2022 at 7:36 PM ^
As god is my witness...

I used to contract food service companies to provide summertime lunches for kids in that neighborhood, along with many others in the area. You guys don't know how special that is for those families. A lot of them, their kids don't get any food on a lot of days except for what they eat at school.
(That's not a humble brag. I used to bitch about my job like a spoiled asshole. I didn't do anything special, just a glorified paper pusher and site monitor. It wasn't until years later that I realized what a shithead I was for taking my work for granted. Taking time out of your day and your own personal free time AND MONEY like Blake is doing, to feed people who are hungry is what real good people do. Im just trying to emphasize what an amazing service this is.)
November 20th, 2022 at 8:47 PM ^
+1… MacArthur Blvd has always been probably the hardest neighborhood in Ypsi. Just further shows what a caring and conscious man he is that he made sure it was going directly to those that need it most this holiday season!
November 20th, 2022 at 3:31 PM ^
Acta non verba. Love to see this.
November 20th, 2022 at 4:01 PM ^
Acta super ohio!
November 20th, 2022 at 3:31 PM ^
Good man.
November 20th, 2022 at 3:31 PM ^
I think I have some dust in my eye after watching this.
Good feels and Go Blue.
November 20th, 2022 at 5:00 PM ^
That happened to me too.
November 20th, 2022 at 3:32 PM ^
Slight limp. And “I’ll be back” isn’t that same as “I’ll be out there on Saturday.” But it’s obviously very positive he’s out walking around. Maybe it’s all part of an elaborate scheme to mess with OSU’s heads.
November 20th, 2022 at 3:33 PM ^
Amazing human and will always be cherished by this fan base. 10/10, would recommend.
And he's still in striking distance of the Heisman if he carries us to one more big win.
