So easy even a Dorothy could do it...

(edit: E-Quad beat me to it)

So, since that link is paywalled, here's one from Iowa SBNation fansite BlackHeartGoldPants.com

Iowa needs to reap what they've sown.

Kirk's albatross of a contract was close to being up I beleive in 2019, but no, they doubled down. Not only did they not see any signs a culture change was needed, they gave ole Ferentzy another even more ridiculous 10 year contract.

Good luck shuckers.

For those wanting some more background on all of this, BlackHeart GoldPants has a fairly extensive page with summaries and links to past stories highlighting some of the deep cultural problems in Iowa football.

I’m sure there is certainly some level of ignorance. If the team is like every lunch room in every school in the country, the players self segregate to a substantial degree.

Also, if you are a minority in this country you probably aren’t talking about every bit of racism you’ve experienced. There’s not enough time in the day.

They probably didn’t see it or notice, but they interviewed several current and former players and the general consensus was it was some shitty attitudes and culture towards the black players at Iowa from Kirk and the coaching staff, but fuck him and Iowa as an institution and record label,  for keeping him

The only surprising thing is that there are not similar reactions from players at other schools in the Great Plains and the South. The only thing egregious about Iowa is that the strength coach said the quiet part out loud.
