Article on Jaydon Hood. Worth a read....

After reading this I thought it merited posting. It's fine attitudes like Hood has that helps forge a team, and contribute to a national title. This guy could.have bolted after his position coach soon left in year 1, or after they bring in Hausmann in year 2...or again after they bring in Barham this year.   Read what he says and I think you'll be impressed as I was...

It really does, doesn't it. Now let's hope he doesn't transfer out after spring game, lol ..kidding aside, I was taken aback by his words... Think of it...the coach who recruited him here, bolted before he got to campus.... Then a year later, when playing time in front of him, they pull in Hausmann... Then another year later, after Barrett and Colson head out to NFL, he's gotta think ok it's my time...and they bring in Barham...  He could be bitter...nope...instead he talks about special teams, etc....I for one will be rooting for Jaydon because of the character here...  It's unsung things like this in the background that are big contributors to the accomplishment.

I hate to be that guy, but it is early in the thread, so let's set this right -- it's Jaydon Hood.

If only certain posts could be edited...

It's such a pleasure cheering for guys like this.  I find myself really looking forward to this year.  We knew that last year was a peak roster for us and our big chance.  So as a fan some of the pressure is off.  But I am really pumped to see these younger guys rise up and seize their moment.  Hats off to Jaydon.

One other player in a similar mold that I am pulling for big time this season is TJ Guy. He has shown now in small sample sizes for the last 3 years that he is a player. However he was buried behind the likes of Hutch, Ojabo, Morris, McGregor, Harrell, Stewart, and Moore.

In today’s college football what players who have shown that they can be a player, stick around for 3 years to wait their time and embrace the program. It’s stuff like that as to why we have had the 3 year run that we’ve had. We truly are different.

I've always wonder how come he didn't transfer and I'm glad that he didn't.  He's seems to be a special man to stay after not getting a chance to play.  Give the young man a chance to prove his worth and LET HIM PLAY!!!!!!

Damn that Harbaugh! How dare he assist Jaydon's family in molding a young man with these values. This needs to be investigated! Everything under his watch...
