All or Nothing on Amazon Prime or Hard Knocks on HBO

All or Nothing is featuring the Carolina Panthers and Devin Funchess has a starring role this season. I love both programs, but I thing I prefer Hard Knocks. Which one do you prefer? The second episode of All or Nothing had a Brady Hoke cameo.

I think I'd prefer if nobody reminded me of when we appeared on All or Nothing ever again.

Now that we got that out of the way, I think Hard Knocks with the Raiders this year will be wildly entertaining. Burfict and AB in the same locker room? Sign me the fuck up for that.

Haven't watched any of the nfl themed all or nothing seasons. I do very much enjoy Last Chance U every July and Hard Knocks every August, although I tend to miss the last few episodes due to school starting and actual football being played.

Neither, not with all the excellent shows out there nowadays at Hulu, Amazon, HBO and Netflix.

Hard Knocks >>>>> All Or Nothing

Hard Knocks is much more current since the episode you see on Tuesday includes stuff that happened on Sunday. Thus, its much more relevant and entertaining since its almost like watching the preseason in real time from the player's/coach's perspective.

All or nothing is the same show, but takes place way after the season ends and you just aren't as drawn in.

Plus with this season, you have made-for-camera Gruden, new-in-town diva AB, psycho-killer Burfict, and the impending move to Las Vegas.

I enjoy both perspectives that each show brings.  I like the behind the scenes look for an entire season (except the ones that feature John O'Korn) and I like the roster management from Hard Knocks.  Nothing made me happier than seeing Riley Roid Rage Bullough get cut from the Tampa Bay Bucs a couple years ago.

I haven't watched Hard Knocks in a few years, but it's such a well done program that I can't imagine anyone would choose something else.

I watched like 3 episodes of All or Nothing when we were on it and reliving that season was like watching my best friend smash my gf on video. Not a good watch.

So, I will never watch it again and prefer Hard Knocks.

All or Nothing because there's drama in a season you can't get in a training camp. Unless I'm forgetting a season no football team gets the All and the complexity of what gets presented from disappointing seasons is more compelling than the hero service championship teams get in docs.

Hard Knocks has more famous player/coach fun but it's the same show every year.

Hard knocks and it’s not even close. All or nothing tries jam too much into the show (let’s face it, 16 weeks of football is a lot) and the majority of it is fluff. Hard knocks has fluff but in my estimation the camp battles and cuts are way more interesting.

I am actually surprised to see that I am in the minority in preferring All or Nothing (obviously not counting the Michigan season). It's tough to build drama in a show where everyone knows how it plays out, but I think they do a really nice job of it regardless. I think they are more or less the same show, I just think the aspects of seeing the season are more interesting than the roster management and profiles of fringe roster players that Hard Knocks relies on.

Either way, I enjoy watching both because I find myself becoming fans of certain players after seeing different sides of them besides press conferences and on the field. DeAndre Hopkins won me over in his Hard Knocks season and Cam has been impressive on this All or Nothing season IMO.

Just finished this season of All or Nothing. I thought it was great. When Cam and Luke were talking to Josh Norman on speaker phone was hilarious. I don’t know why we have to choose which one is better of the shows. You can watch and enjoy both.

As a sidenote, Devin Funchess was in the area recently - he made an appearance at a camp being run on the field of the now-defunct Farmington Hills - Harrison High School, which is of course where he played high school football. Todd Gurley made a bonus appearance at this camp as well actually.
