Alabama G Nimari Burnett transfers to Michigan
Burnett was a top 40 combo guard who started his career at Texas Tech then transferred to Alabama and is now making his way to Ann Arbor
Slot him in where Jett's scholarship was, puts them at 13 if Kobe and Hunter return. Add the freshmen, Llewellyn returns, Baker gets an extra year. I don't hate how the team looks on paper.
Does not give me good feels on Kobe, hope I'm wrong...either way great pickup.
Seems to be more of a 2 than a 1-guard combo. Probably somewhat indicative of what they think Kobe will do. Was a big fan of Burnett's coming out of high school, really wanted UM to get him. Of course, now several years later a bit more hesitant. Injury history, unclear buy-in (flaky, 3 schools in 3 years), and not a serviceable 3-point shooter (29% career, small sample size though). Hopefully things finally come together for him next year and he becomes a major player, like Charles Matthews for example. That said, UM is in desperate need of shooting that can space the floor and I'm not sure this add will help on that front (again, based on a small sample size).
Unless we are dead set on playing Willams at the 3 (please God, no).
I don't understand why we are looking at other average sized guard. Well, actually I do, because when you look at our bench, it's all wings. But a starting SF is more important than a backup SG.
We need a BIG guard/SF to replace Jett. And move Jace to NIL/walk-on and get a PG in his place.

...all recruiting should be for Bufkin, but if he's gone, we need some size at that open starting spot. Most importantly, whoever is in that spot has to be the best basketball player on the team if this is the roster.
(Llewellyn, Bufkin, Barnes, Je. Howard)
I don’t get why you think Khayat is going to be buried. He looked more than fine against Vandy, which means I’d expect him to crack the rotation as a 3 next year—maybe start depending on who is on the roster.
Same with Glenn—a Top 50 recruit
No coach recruits players to bench them for years on end. He essentially redshirted without the actual designation.
It astounds me that fans give up on freshmen after one season.
Glenn was not even close to being top 50.

Damn, you really read that and jumped off the deep end, didn't you?
1. It's just broken out by traditional positions. It's not a 1-13 list of players.
Putting Baker ahead of Khayat is not the end of the world and no one is saying he's not going to play or get better, and no one gave up on him after his freshman year.
Also, Glenn was around 125. He wasn't even Top 100.
But keep on acting as if you know everything.
