Redshirt freshman wide receiver Ahmir Mitchell has been dismissed from the Rutgers football program for violating team rules, a source told NJ Advance Media on Friday.

I just tried to look him up on twitter today to see if he was/could play this Saturday. Too bad, I was excited for him to play at UM, build the NJ pipeline, and be a PHYSICAL WR that Michigan needs to bad right now.

He was supposed to be one of the next good ones there. He is talented. Man Michigan has missed on some big receivers. Hopefully Peters or McCaffrey just become awesome and all of the younger studs in high school want to play ball there. Really need to land another top receiver in this glass. I know last years class was loaded but I still say you go all in for the best in the country. All I want for Xmas is another big play making young gun. That’s all I fricking ask this year. Are you okay with that Pep and Jim???

It's gotta be annoying for a seemingly talented guy like Chris Ash to have disciplinary problems with key players when he's trying to build a program. I'm just glad we're not in that position.
