Let me translate to English: “bro I keep watching this gif of Glasgow’s punt block and it’s dope! Wouldn’t it be funny if we posted this when requesting a troll on the board be banned or “sent to Bolivia” because the punter (troll) is trying to do something and we (Glasgow) aren’t letting him? Bro let’s do it! I want memes!”

did I get it?

I don't understand the post, but I'm happy to see that clip again and again.  I did not realize the ball hit him above the elbow.  This block was not even close!

Glasgow plays hard and smart. His lack of speed and agility will get exposed badly if he is on the field for the next two games. He would be a great player in the MAC.

huh? Are we watching the same games? His lack of agility has hurt us multiple times this year. Even going back to Osu a few years ago when Glasgow was first seeing the field, he had the kick returner in his sites only to get juked badly and allow a huge kick return at a crucial time. Dax needs to be on the field. This is not slander. Harbaugh likes him and he plays hard, but athletically he is out of his league. Hold me accountable for having an opinion. Da fuq you talking about?

Instead of naming names, just say the team has a player or players who look good against inferior teams and there needs to be more speed on the field with Hill or McGrone. You can name specifics names when inserting into the lineup, but don't single out the players in a bad way.  They're kids. Respect that.  It's pretty simple.

Are you aware that Daxton Hill (6’1 190) and Jordan Glasgow (6’1 230) play entirely different positions and are in no way substitutes for one another?

Are you further aware that Jordan Glasgow is playing over Devin Gil, who we’ve seen get torched by more athletic players on offense far more than we’ve seen Glasgow get beat?

and are you further aware that Jordan Glasgow has been the best player on the field for our defense in multiple games this year?

Good lord with “fans” like you who needs trolls and haters?  It’s always the same with your clique:  passive-aggressive bullshit intended to paint the players and coaches as inferior even when they’ve performed well.  Glasgow has a punt block, an awesome tackle to prevent a huge gain when the QB broke contain, and IIRC a fumble recovery with Cam forced the fumble.  I’m sure he made other plays too, but those stand out.

Yet here you are saying he’s inferior and you’re probably one of those posters that call the team and coach soft.  It’s uncanny how almost every time someone positive is posted one of the first few posts is a snarky, negative comment like this.  So pathetic.

I'll agree that he didn't have the requisite speed and agility to be a starter at safety (as much as Brian loved Kovacs, he was useful in Mattison's bend-don't-break defense but probably couldn't hack it in Brown's ultra-aggressive system). But Glasgow has everything you need out of a B10 linebacker. Is it ideal to have him out there when teams go 5-wide? Obviously not, but that's why teams go 5-wide. The whole point is to make linebackers a liability and require everyone to make plays in space.

McGrone definitely has the higher upside but he's also caused some big plays by taking the wrong angles or not being in the right place. Glasgow has be beat a couple times in space but that will happen–that's why offenses try to get linebackers 1-on-1 with slots and scatbacks. Personally, I think he's a huge asset to the team. While it would be nice for every linebacker to be Devin Bush, you'll be disappointed with those expectations.

This post was kind of ramble-y. Sorry, but there are just all sorts of reasons I disagree with that take.

Wait..... remember after the WS game when 1/2 the blog wanted him benched, to never play again?  yeah..... there's a lot of bloggers who change direction like the wind.

Not sure if its ADHD or just extreme overreaction.  Actually,  this might be a symptom, a symptom of Bpone syndrome.

I must have been in a weird dream last night, because I swear there was an "Add to Troll Cave" button in the comments section. I should have screenshot it, but I was more concerned with how to get a gif to imbed into my post
