93rd Surgery Today for Larry Prout Jr.

I couldn't imagine. What a trooper. Good luck kid.

People talk about toughness in CFB. Larry Prout has toughness.

I've had 4 major surgeries.

I hope some of the 93 surgeries he's had were minor because... damn.

The last one, I was under 6 hours and couldn't pee for like 20 hours after.

You just feel so wretched (yet relieved) when you hear them waking you up post surgery. You're just so glad it's over.

If you told me I was going to go through that 89 more times, I'm not sure I would want to face up to that. I really hope that some of those were routine, short procedures.

Perspective.

is easily the toughest hombre I've read about. Each surgery traditionally requires at least a pre and post op visit. More complicated ones would require more. So, not only has this dude crushed 90+ procedures, he's had to endure HUNDREDS of doctor appointments. Impressive to say the least.

Even as a grown man, the human spirit shown by Larry and kids like Larry is an inspiration. 

Larry is a tough son of a gun.  Making his Wolveine family proud.

Proud to have this young man with our team.  WHOOOOO'S TOUGHER?  NOOOOBODY!

Keeping Larry in my thoughts today.

He's a heck of a fighter

Is there a light at the end of the tunnel or will these be an ongoing thing his whole life. Man, I can't even imagine...

Stay strong, Larry. Really makes you put things in perspective.

This kid is incredible. So brave and strong to be able to undergo so much in only 15 years. All my prayers are to Larry

I only wish I could be half as tough as this young man.

There may be a more dignified term for it, but I don't know if there is a better one. Forget the fact that he's been cut by doctors HUNDREDS of times (which is pretty metal)- imagine all the weeks in the hospital? Imagine all the time he's had to spend being nervous before surgury? How many time the worst-case scenario has gone through his mind? How could someone this young go through that crap?

Only one answer suffices- the kid is a stone-cold badass.
