"That's a lot of cheddar" - Camaron Cheeseman on learning that his scholi is worth between 40 and 120k depending on his state residence status.

Does anyone know if these are ongoing scholarships or just for this season? I would imagine that Cheeseman's is for his full education as he is the starting LS. The other two may be short term so that we can use them in the next class.

Outside of special circumstances they are not guaranteed for more than a semester (or year?) for walk-ons - basically until a scholarship player arrives to claim it.

It IS apparently important to make that clear to each recipient or an entitled a-hole former player may try to make you look bad about it years later.  (See the McIlwane/Del Rio crap from last week Brian that referenced on the front page,)

Is that for the whole year or just the semester?  Either way, a heck  of a long-term burden eased for these young men, especially if they were out-of-state.

That's great news. I'm really rooting for Schoenle. If Tarik Black's (alleged) injury is legitimate, and more than minor, Nate may get the chance to earn it, aside from his already valuable ST contributions and work ethic.

EDIT: This also gives the offense ESP.

Not to take anything away from these gentlemen; all are very deserving. However, are all 3 of these guys more valuable than Glasgow? Or is Glasgow already a full fledged FORMER walk-on like his brothers? Did I miss that update?
