Strong debut, my good sir

That was awesome! The 5 split screens simultaneously is a neat touch.

I'm a bear of too little brain to watch it all at the same time, but it was enjoyable nonetheless...

Ah yes, the annual hype video where the first 25% of the video is clips of us getting our asses handed to us by OSU (and ND this time too). I'm so hyped after that.
"But it's different because this is the year it changes" - Michigan fans 2006-present

I mean, what else is there to point out? The story-line continues to be "Michigan can win big this year...if they can get past OSU."
That is how every season has ended in recent memory, and it'll continue to be it until it changes. I think it's appropriate to call that out at the beginning of the video, since it's what has been stuck in our fans for every offseason almost every year.

It was nicely book-ended with the same split-screen shots of M successes, some against ND and OSU from last year. It was polished, edited well, had some new clips that you don't always see, and clearly had a lot of thought and planning. You get these kinds of turn-the-page videos when things don't go well at the end of a season. If you don't like conflict, go follow tiddly-winks.

First off, I thought the video was very well done and I really enjoyed it. Thank you for taking time to create it.
I do agree with Bambi regarding Michigan related hype videos though. I don’t watch as many as I used to watch because most of them seem to follow the same formula with a bunch of depressing clips at the beginning. The Better son/daughter video was the best hype video I’ve ever seen, but it was novel at the time (to me at least). It seems like the entire off-season is filled with people piling on Michigan for not winning the big games. Don’t need another reminder in hype videos. I don’t think Bambi said anything outlandish or controversial but apparently other feel that way judging from all the negs.

I don't think I need to get anymore hyped, but this is still a fun ride... thanks for posting!

You are one talented dude! Great video, well done!

The Paul Bunyan pose was an instant classic. Can't wait to see what Shea can do with this coordinator, O line, & supremely talented receivers!

The only good hype video is a replay of an actual victory. Everything else is just desperate marketing.

Video was well-cut to the music. Would have liked to hear more audio in there, but overall solidly done. The 5 split-screen view with the synced cuts on the piano was very well-done. Had to have taken a hell of a long time for those 15 seconds alone.
I do think the song was a bit fast / heavy overall, but you did a solid job of syncing the footage with it. Keep it up!

Unfortunately I didn't have time to run it through After Effects and literally sync the audio levels to more advance video effects, as opposed to manually timing and rendering solely in Premiere Pro. We're in complete agreement, but I felt the need to forego After Effects touches to ensure it gets out a week before kickoff.
Although I still love the way this piece turned out, I'm aiming to make them significantly cleaner moving forward.

Fun video! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for that!

Hoping next year's hype video features a win over those guys in Columbus

That would certainly make the process much more enjoyable..

Nicely done, good sir!

Nice production, have to agree with Bambi though. The video was
- 25% cliche ripping our heart out (at least you didn't make it black/white)
- 25% clips from 30 years ago (yes Harbaugh played here, I get it)
- 50% actual new content, that flipped so fast it was hard to actually enjoy the "meat" of the video.
The "rewind" feature could be really cool if implemented in the right situation, but it felt forced here.

One of the best I’ve seen this year, nice!
