California they up 17-14 against Oregon state. GO BEARS!
November 21st, 2020 at 7:09 PM ^
UCLA not Cal
November 21st, 2020 at 4:59 PM ^
Franklin is an idiot. Goes for it on 4th and 2 near midfield with 53 seconds to go. Turns it back over to Iowa who leads 17-7
November 21st, 2020 at 5:04 PM ^
And Iowa capitalized on Franklins stupidity. 24-7 Iowa
November 21st, 2020 at 5:03 PM ^
Wisconsin is tied 7-7 on the road at Northwestern just before halftime. After being up 28-0 at Michigan at the end of the first quarter.
That really goes to further show just how absolutely awful this Michigan team is this year. The 2014 Michigan team might beat this year‘s team. And that is saying something.
November 21st, 2020 at 6:23 PM ^
Being -3 in turnovers, instead of +2 against Michigan, might have something to do with it.
November 21st, 2020 at 5:06 PM ^
Brian Ferentz is coaching better than Harbaugh and Gattis combined. I wish we had variety and execution like that.
November 21st, 2020 at 6:21 PM ^
Execution certainly, but Ferentz has consistently been the least imaginative (variety) coach in the B10.
November 21st, 2020 at 5:12 PM ^
Franklin and Harbaugh gone by the end of the season. Book It!
November 21st, 2020 at 6:35 PM ^
Almost guaranteed both of those coaches will be back
Penn state doesn't have the money for a buyout and a new coach and he and Harbaugh will both get passes for a covid year
November 21st, 2020 at 5:17 PM ^
Matt Campbell! Hire that man!
Up 28-0 on KState and another M coaching hopeful, Chris Klieman
November 21st, 2020 at 6:01 PM ^
He’ll probably take the job at Penn State for less money just because that’s how things go.
November 21st, 2020 at 5:19 PM ^
If either Campbell or Fickell isn't wearing maize and blue by January 1st everyone working in the athletic department should be shot out of a cannon.
November 21st, 2020 at 5:21 PM ^
I couldnt agree more. But again please fire Harbaugh first! for the love of god!
November 21st, 2020 at 5:58 PM ^
Tom Allen would be a good hire as well.
November 21st, 2020 at 5:22 PM ^
Putting aside Michigan's coaching situation, what Matt Campbell has done at ISU is impressive. I know this is well-covered ground, but it's worth repeating what a difficult place to win that is. Only Kansas has been worse in that conference over the years.
Also, is K State missing players today? I don't think they've been blown out like this in 30 years.
November 21st, 2020 at 5:59 PM ^
Do they have insane expectations at Iowa State like here at Michigan?
November 21st, 2020 at 6:05 PM ^
It's so insane to expect one big ten title in six years
November 21st, 2020 at 6:05 PM ^
I didn't know that beating MSU who has since scored 7 pts since beating Michigan was "insane" expectations.
November 21st, 2020 at 6:00 PM ^
If he wins one of the last two games, they will will the most conference wins in a single season.
Kansas St is missing their starting Qb, but he’s been out a few games.
November 21st, 2020 at 5:32 PM ^
Watching Iowa with a much more creative scheme than Michigan is just depressing.
November 21st, 2020 at 6:04 PM ^
Iowa hasn't had a new hc in decades...
November 21st, 2020 at 5:40 PM ^
Why am I SO envious of Iowa State football?! GO. GET. CAMPBELL.
November 21st, 2020 at 5:46 PM ^
Penn State may get him first.
November 21st, 2020 at 5:45 PM ^
Northwestern looks small across the defensive line . . . and it doesn't even matter.
November 21st, 2020 at 5:45 PM ^
Hire Matt motherfucking Campbell!!!
November 21st, 2020 at 5:49 PM ^
Oklahoma is the only good win on ISU’s schedule this season and Iowa St lost to the mighty Ragin’ Cajuns.
November 21st, 2020 at 6:04 PM ^
He’s 7-11 against ranked teams, 3-3 vs top 10 teams at Iowa St. If you take out his first year at ISU when he went 3-9, he’s 7-7 against ranked teams.
November 21st, 2020 at 6:06 PM ^
He has more top ten wins than Harbaugh
November 21st, 2020 at 6:21 PM ^
When ISU lose, they typically lose by two possessions or less. He’s lost 6 games by three or more possession (17 points) while at ISU. Four were in his first season there. Harbaugh has 9 losses by three possessions or more. And more importantly, five of them have come in the 2019&2020 seasons. I thank Jim by having the program in a better place than he inherited it (and I think that’s true regardless of what happens this season) but it’s time to move on.
November 21st, 2020 at 5:52 PM ^
And NW crushes a Wisc. jet sweep for a zero yard gain. Made it look easy.
November 21st, 2020 at 6:03 PM ^
They had an entire week to look at film of how not to do it
November 21st, 2020 at 5:58 PM ^
Matt Campbell is currently making Kansas State look like Michigan.
November 21st, 2020 at 6:02 PM ^
But seriously, what is happening with Penn State? This is a bad season, I get it... but wow.
November 21st, 2020 at 6:03 PM ^
Anyone have any idea whom our idiot, secretive coach is starting at QB?
I hope he gives Cade a chance from the beginning of the game to show what he can do?
November 21st, 2020 at 6:06 PM ^
Iowa is running up the middle on psu at will. Incredible
November 21st, 2020 at 6:13 PM ^
Penn state looks worse than Michigan.
November 21st, 2020 at 6:26 PM ^
Hopefully they are worse but they finish their season with Michigan, Rutgers, and MSU. So may be a bit early to assume their season will end up being worse than ours.
November 21st, 2020 at 6:42 PM ^
I predict PSU wins one game this season. You’ll never guess who I think that will come against.
November 21st, 2020 at 6:14 PM ^
Well, no matter what happens tonight, it still won't be as bad as Penn State . . . 0 - 5 for the first time ever in program history.
So, whoo hoo! Misery does not just love company, it loves miserable company.
November 21st, 2020 at 6:16 PM ^
And unlike us, whether they keep their head coach or not is not a discretionary choice. They can't afford his massive buyout.
November 21st, 2020 at 6:16 PM ^
They are asking if harbaugh can coach in state valley
/s
November 21st, 2020 at 6:17 PM ^
I still love "slobberknocker" defensive battles like this Wisconsin-Northwestern game.
November 21st, 2020 at 6:20 PM ^
This is a game straight out of 1970.
November 21st, 2020 at 6:27 PM ^
How is the Northwestern defense so much better than Michigan's? I am so sad.
November 21st, 2020 at 6:34 PM ^
None of the players on NW's defense would be considered starters on Michigan's defense, and none of them were probably even recruited by Michigan. And yet . . .
November 21st, 2020 at 6:40 PM ^
Paddy Fisher would start over Ross
November 21st, 2020 at 6:44 PM ^
In addition to Paddy Fisher, I'd take Northwestern's corners.
November 21st, 2020 at 6:34 PM ^
So Wisconsin isn’t even that good.
November 21st, 2020 at 6:36 PM ^
I like what ISU is doing over Cincinnati. Different competition level but ISU executes well.
