One Frame At A Time: 2022 Season GIF Tournament
Hey, remember when we were going to have an annual Harbuagh GIF tournament back in 2016 and then we only had one? That was fun. Let's do more tournaments, please.
I started One Frame At A Time this season with the thought of "I remember when I used to love this. I want it back." I loved this Harbuagh gif tournament, and so I'm making my own with One Frame At A Time gifs from this season. Here's how this is going to work: I've got 64 gifs from this football season. They're ranked just like the men's basketball tournament (without the first four) with four gifs for each seed ranked 1-16, mostly so that we actually get to experience a 64 team bracket style tournament in the year 2023.
The seeds have been created by the number of votes received in the polls from each week's diary. This makes it a little subjective because there's a lot of ties, but I did my best to keep things fair. If you don't like a seeding, well, if you didn't vote don't complain! And if you did, then complain away! Comments are good for the youtube algorithm. Also, the titles are gonna not make any sense at all sometimes because they're ripped unceremoniously from the context of the awful humor of my past posts.
I did include 3 gifs from the Fiesta Bowl since I'm basically doing this instead of creating a Frames post for that game. Sorry not sorry. I attempted to keep it 1 gif per play but I think I missed a few. Oops. I'll leave voting for each round up for a week or so before moving to the next round. If there are any tiebreakers needed, I'll make a forum post so that the people who never click on diaries can help us sort it out. To vote, click on the link to each poll on the vs. between each gif.
I really hate how this offseason has started, especially given how bright the future can be for next season and beyond. Instead of dwelling on how things ended or on how ridiculous the past few weeks have been, I'd rather focus on the great times we've had this season. Going through and ranking these I recognized how truly wonderful this season has been and how much I enjoyed it as a fan. I hope this retrospective is fun for you as well as we reminisce together. Man, crazy how many highlights are Corum. We really would have had a shot at UGA with him at full strength. Got to ride him less next year, which makes not sense, because he can score from anywhere. How many 3rd and shorts did he turn into 20+ yards?

Thank you for doing this, so much fun! I felt guilty picking against Blake a few times, but fortunately he was in every other matchup so I got to vote for him puh-lenty anyway.

I actually did this just by the math. Picked the seeds first and then fleshed them out afterwards. There isn't a handpicked matchup at all. In fact, some of my favorites are 100% going to lose first round because of ridiculous seeds due to the math and I'm sad about it. haha.

The videos aren't showing in the post or they aren't showing once you click to vote? Because the gifs themselves are not in the poll. Once you click to vote, it should take you to a pollcode poll that just gives you the option of one or the other with the seeds and titles. Once your vote is counted, it will automatically take you to the results of the poll.
