Finally, opportunities for me to look stupid Sunday:

  • Minor has like 90% of the carries.

  • Michigan finally pulls something out of the bag of tricks.

  • Woolfolk moves to corner and Iowa gets a big play because of safety error because of it.

  • Iowa, 20-17.

Mailbag. Why doesn’t Tate have any batted balls (pre-Iowa)? Are Kevin Leach and Jordan Kovacs going to get scholarships? Are Tate and Denard making the right reads? What’s the difference between the Zone Read Dive and the Zone Read Veer? Is MSU putting a lot more time and prep in for the ‘M’ game?

A rundown of AD candidates, including: Bob De Carolis, Jeff Long, Warde Manuel, and Brad Bates.

Others

Former regent Dave Brandon is out there, but is a heavily active Republican who might unnecessarily politicize something that doesn't need that sort of thing. He's also the Domino's CEO and would have to give up his current job, and has considered running for the Senate. He's got other priorities.

Wednesday presser notes. David Molk will start this weekend, hooray!

Unverified Voracity Pulls Around. A discussion on Down G.

Lloyd Carr has declared he is not a candidate for AD

October 22 - Thursday

Weekly injury report

October 23 - Friday (Hey, it’s my MGoBlog account birthday!)

Unverified Voracity Likes it Draconian. Boubacar Cissoko might come back to play this weekend?

Preview: Penn St.

Finally, opportunities for me to look stupid Sunday:

  • Minor gets the bulk of the work and puts up 100 yards on 20-ish carries.

  • Graham gets a lot of doubles, which leads to effective blitzing from Brown and Mouton.

  • Michigan busts out the wheel routes they've avoided so far this year and gets a big one.

  • Michigan, 23-21. Missed field goal the difference.

There are lots of MGoShirts available at Underground Printing, including several new designs.

October 27 - Tuesday

Friday Night Lights

Mailbag. Someone is looking for “The Michigan Drinking Song”. Could there be end of year awards for best post, best diary, etc? Are Roh and Kovacs outside LBs? What about the lack of recruiting for the defense right now? Background information on FBS teams playing FCS teams. Should the 2008 defensive recruiting class be considered a bust (outside of Mike Martin)?

Unverified Voracity Says Nice Unfinished Hotel. Well, now Lloyd has come back and said nice things about Rodriguez.

It now looks like Dave Brandon would be the front-runner for AD, if he wants the job.

And Cissoko has been dismissed from the team.

  • The safety play burns Michigan.

  • Michigan, 28-17.

Yuck! After this month I was getting sick of RR! I remember I did not even want to watch the Purdue game, so I went for a 10 mile run and listen to Michigan. The team was not able to hold on for the win, they lost and we finished under .500 for the second consecutive year.
