I've been a fan since the early sixties and was at the 1969 game.

This one felt just as good as that one did.  They should have taken down the goal posts like we did in 1969.

My first live game was 71 but I remember the 69 game. Watched it with my mom who was a rabid Michigan fan (dad was there too but mom would get excited and punch him in the shoulder. He didn't care he was as invested as she was).

Excellent game. Domination feels GOOD!

This may just be me, but I have no fucking clue what to do with myself.  I am so used to being angry and going a long drive or watching not-football, or something after this game.  Now I actually WANT to watch highlights of The Game.  I so happy and so confused.  Go Blue.

2003 felt really close to this. At the time losing 2 years prior was torture. Michigan dominated that game and it felt so good.

97 was more about the greater picture on the season. Michigan had dominated all decade so I didn't feel like we wouldn't win that particular day.

Today I had to fight back tears. Literally couldn't control my shit.

"Those who stay will be champions."

"The Team, The Team, The Team"

I remember the Schembechler teams. This Michigan team has embraced those iconic statements and are on the cusp of greatness.

The only difference between this and the 1969 game is we took down the goal posts in 69--in fact, it almost landed on me.

I helped tear down the goal posts in '69.  Very few expected what happened in '69 and very few expected Michigan's win yesterday. I cried after the game yesterday because I was so happy and it has been so painful to watch the last few years. So happy for the team, Coach Jim and the Wolverine Nation. It's a great feeling.

Now it's time to move on and beat Iowa!
