Finally my youngest son gets to see a higher ranked and seemingly invincible buckeye team come into the big house and get their dreams crushed into the dirt. This was much more common when I was a kid, let’s keep this going.

Yesterday on the golf course here in San Antonio, I wore my M safari hat. I had about 10 Go Blues and Wolverine complements to beat the Buckeyes during my round. Felt awesome going into the game today.

That was a football game right there. I always say that styles make fights and, against the wishes of most here, our “old” style of football was the deciding factor in that fight. Speedy “spread stopping” LBs don’t like to fill gaps. You have to make them do what they ain’t good at. Well done coaches, players & fans. Revel in it.

I met and became friends with a remarkable guy while I was teaching a course as a GSI while he was tutoring some athletes in that course, including Taylor Lewan, for the athletic department. In fact, this all happened the Fall semester the last time we beat OSU. He loved football and Lewan got him a field pass for some veterans thing and my buddy loved it.
I just found out yesterday he died under circumstances I can’t bring myself to discuss.
But I like to think he somehow saw this game, because it was great. Go Blue
