So There's Going To Be A Football Game Against Iowa?
The Big Ten has decided that the most sensible thing to do during "champions week" is to create the following matchups:

The most infuriating thing is that the relegation playoff was right there! 2-5 MSU! 2-5 Nebraska! The grimly entertaining spectacle of the quien es menos macho game was there for the taking, and instead we get MSU-Maryland and Nebraska-Rutgers.
Anyway, as part of this cluster a 2-4 Michigan gets to travel to Kinnick on Saturday night to play 6-2 Iowa. Michigan is a two-touchdown underdog; anyone who tested positive for COVID-19 after the game against… uh… I want to say Penn State(?) will not be eligible because the league has mandated a 21-day sit-out period. That should eliminate 10-20 players; who those players are is unknown.
We do know that Cade McNamara and Joe Milton were both injured but trying to give it ago against (probably) Penn State a few weeks ago. Strong possibility one or both is still not 100%. Also the starting center already transferred. If this game has any value whatsoever it should be clarifying about whether Michigan is inclined to fight for Jim Harbaugh's job.
There is no content after the jump.

So, we'll end up playing three of the top four teams in the B1G West, while OSU will only play one. The B1G knows how to protect their sacred calf.

I mean, I see what you’re saying but, 1) is there really 4 good teams in the West (or even the B1G), 2) would our record look any different had we played 6 of the worst teams?
sigh.

The 2020 college football season can't end quick enough. Very little good has come out of it and what games come to mind that will leave a last impressing. Maybe the 20 yard Shoe-put game but thats because it is fresh in my mind.

"There is no content after the jump."
That pretty much sums up this season (& Harbaugh).

The Big Ten football season has passed from just an ordinary goat rodeo through the goat mambo stage and is now securely in high speed goat fuck territory. It can’t end soon enough.

Iowa's going to destroy us. Whatever

Even with the controversy surrounding Ferentz, he's still on the verge of hamblasting a Harbaugh coached Michigan team. Amazing.

Why can't Michigan and Ohio State play this Saturday?

Why are you getting so worked up? There is between 100% and 100% that this game will be cancelled due to Covid.

Also the starting center already transferred.
Wait..already transferred or entered the portal? Those are two different things. If he's already transferred, where did he wind up transferring to???

Does anyone think its a coincidence that two of our offensive line quasi starters, transferred..and both are from Ohio, and both are going back to Ohio. Gotta wonder how much negative recruitng they experience, and they finally break.. first was Hudson and now Carpenter....

I enjoyed the basketball write up much more.
It will be interesting to see if the majority of the players actually try hard.
As an aside, this is the first against the spread line that makes some sense in quite some time. 14 is still low given the unknowns.
