Quinn Hughes Returns Comment Count

Nice:

We choose to think that the site banner was inviolable and not that Vancouver couldn't free up an NHL slot for him. Hughes's return is obviously a big deal; getting a top-ten pick who played in the World Championships and was the best player on the ice in just about every game down the stretch is a massive W. Hughes's rate of improvement and number of near misses late last year should mean a Hobey-level campaign is in the offing.

Obviously fantastic news. He was and will be our best player by some distance. If he had left, this season would be a slog; it's still going to take work to replace the considerably production we've lost, since his brother wasn't able to accelerate his schooling.

But he is going to be tons of fun. And yes, given the attention he already has, I think a Hobey run is a real possibility, especially if the team can equal last year's performance.

The headline thrilled me...the details of the post were a fantastic letdown: "We choose to think that the site banner was inviolable"

PLEASE CHANGE THE ROBOTS. It's like a fork to the eyes every site visit.
