Puck's Soliloquy
If we shadows have offended, think but this and all is mended.
[jump]
That you have but slumbered here, while these visions did appear:
And this weak and idle theme, no more yielding but a dream.
Gentles do not reprehend,
for if you pardon, we will mend.
And as I am an honest Puck,
If we have unearned luck,
Now to 'scape the serpent's tongue,
we will make amends 'ere long.
Else the puck a liar call?
So good night unto you all.
Give me your hands if we be friends.
And Robin shall restore amends.

Thanks for this Seth. I bet you really had to make some tough decisions to whittle the season down to just a few great plays.
/s
hahaha.
And the best (worst?) part is that almost all these plays were against Minnesota. The Minnesota game was the February 2020 of our season. We were so young and naive then.

I was afraid he was going to run out of plays and have to double up some of the verses.

This post, celebrating our few successful plays against terrible, terrible teams while referencing Shakespeare, is both
- Peak Michigan fandom; and
- Would be the lead story of This Week in Schadenfreude if it still existed.

The thing about a Michigan self-own is you have to be a Michigan fan to get the joke.

I am not referring to Seth as "O Captain, My Captain".....
.....but this is good -- and sad -- all at the same time. What could have been, at least on offense.

What a terrible season. B1G screwed up the to start with, other than Minnesota the games Michigan did play were abysmal, the last 3 games cancelled, Harbaugh situation up in the air. If it wasn’t for the antics of my fellow MGoBloggers I would have given up a long time ago

So very well done.
The promise of the opener sure felt like a bait and switch. Here's to health and safety for all, and a fresh restart.

1) Charbonnet peaked on his first carry of the season. He should have pulled a Costanza and opted out to prepare for the draft after that one.
2) Crazy that even in a shortened season we can fit all of our highlights into a brief post. Good riddance, 2020!

What happened to Minnesota? Oh, 2020 did.

Played Demetrius a few years ago in a lovely outdoor courtyard with a local Shakes company, where I shared the stage with a rabid Michigan fan who was sadly dating an OSU fan.
I believe this was the go for two to beat OSU year and we were rehearsing at a private school where Tripp Welborne was the AD. Spoke with him right after and he did NOT appreciate that defensive performance...can only imagine what he must think of the more recent vintages.

Great highlights!
Glad you put these in rather than doing a “It was the best of times. It was the worst of times” theme. What a season to forget.

I love this bit. Puck's soliloquy is a favorite of mine that I had memorized at one time in HS. I attempted it at a fine arts competition once but was not selected to represent my school at the actual competition.
