Has anyone else seen this comment from Brock Mealer in annarbor.com today?

He (Brock) considered pursuing his master’s degree in public affairs in Ann Arbor, where he would have been a student alongside his brother, Elliott, but the out-of-state tuition costs made it prohibitive.

“I figure if I can get two degrees from Ohio State, it might be close to Elliott’s undergraduate degree,” he joked.

(I guess the difference is not a secret)

I'm under the impression that injured players who won't play in a season can easily be moved onto a non-athletic scholarship, and that schools usually do this as a courtesy for their injured players.  Is that not the case?  Or does it have something to do with his injury being non-football-related?

I'm in Toronto and I'm trying to get my ducks in a row before 3:30.  Has anybody else tried the NBC streaming from outside the U.S.?  I'm "watching" it right now, but all I get is a black screen.  (I know, it's only noon.)  Nobody else is getting a feed, right?  The wait is killing me!

So much for leaving the questions about streams at home.

2 consecutive years of a fantastic game.  Yea our secondary needs major improvement, but D-Rob was absolutely flawless on that last drive.  It seemed like he was calling the play to the sideline for the keeper.  DAMN.

gaudy stats, a national spotlight, flashes of utter brilliance and WINS define heisman candidates  denard deserves to be in the top 5, and he may have earned frontrunner status with today's performance.  it's only 2 weeks in, but i look forward to seeing this kid get... better!?
