Mario Eugenio Has Decommitted Comment Count

The question of how they’re going to fit so many OLBs into one class got a little bit more clarity, as FL 4* Mario Eugenio announced he is reopening his recruitment.

Eugenio is a guy they thought could DE/OLB for them. I really liked his film, but that’s true for a lot of the edge defenders they’re bringing in, and the edge defenders with a lot of eligibility left on the roster. Iowa State really wanted him, and his 6’3”/359 DT teammate Tawfiq Thomas. He was not the one I wanted to see fall out of the class, but they have a lot of options left in Micah Pollard, Deuce Spurlock, and Aaron Alexander, Kevonte Henry, and top target Joshua Josephs. Not being an insider, my best guess is it wasn’t the classmates so much as the evident depth on the roster right now for a player who was open about his desire to play early. That Ojabo game was magnificent if you weren’t the guy hoping to win Ojabo’s job immediately.

This reader also points out Michigan is suddenly weak again in matters of plumbing various kingdoms of mushroom people.

Visiting from NY, had to take father to dentist at the Medical Village at corner of Southfield and Beverly. Took forever because two aggressive wild turkeys followed me from parking lot and stood outside waiting room. Never seen anything like it.  Had to exit side door.  No lunch. But if so I'd have gone to the Bread Basket on Southfield Road if it's still there.  For the Midwest it's great pastrami.

Well...Hell.  If there was anywhere to lose recruiting class depth this was the spot, but I now has a sad.

Best of Luck to him, but man it would have been great to see him in Maize and Blue.

I think this is it. And frankly, it's great news for us. Good luck to the young man.
