and the pressure continues to mount on our freshman qbs...lovely
Original poster probably stole the information from Tom Beaver at GoBlueWolverine. The news broke over there this morning.
You can't copyright facts.

althou on the upside, that means more snaps in practice to foricer, and denard when he gets to AA
Cone's injury will only effect his ability to give hand signals from the sideline but Sheridan's is a concern for depth purposes. My biggest concern about the success of our spread offense is the amount of hits the QBs take. We need 4 good QBs on the roster because there is a higher risk of injury. Since Tate looks about 170 soaking wet I'm not confident he will make it through a season without missing some time due to an injury brought on by an opposing linebacker.
Ugh.
Whether or not you agree that spread offense QBs are more likely to be injured (you obviously don't), the lack of depth is a concern.
While it's far from predictable (and therefore debatable) that his lower weight means a higher risk of injury, I think it does, based on physics and also based on this: if greater mass wasn't desirable in his case, why do RR and Barwis want him to gain weight?
that sucks. Who's then going to update RR's twitter and faceplant page?
As has been commented before, there is no evidence linking spread QB's to any more or less injuries than pocket passers. Injuries are freak happenings. That is all.
I'll be damned... This is cones all-american hand signaler year. Wow, this is going to be a long year.
Whats next? The guy in section 26, row 13 seat 95 is going to have a heart attack?
All of us have expressed distress over Sheridan's presence on the field over the course of the year. And some of us have even wished physical harm on the kid.
Well, you've got your wish. We'll see how his absence will help the team now...
Barnum is rumored to be injured, as well.
it's not a rumor. He has a wrist injury he's practicing through but most likely will have surgery after spring ball.
...Barnum left practice on crutches.
that's definitely not part of his wrist injury.
Is this for real? Angry Michigan blank hating god is alive and well it seems. ARRGGGHHHH
Has this been confirmed anywhere else? Sorry, but I can't help but notice Jeff just joined today.
but he should have plenty of time to heal and be ready for reps in the fall.
Tate might have to play both ways in the spring game.
Where is your link?
You know you just claimed that the possible fall starter broke a leg which is significant, and the number 3 had a less significant injury.
You just joined today = highly possible troll.
Rivals is reporting it.
Oh well.
I would never be happy about anyone on the team getting hurt. But maybe all of these injuries on offense mean that our defense is playing well.
by a premium source, just fyi. It's on mlive now, too.
Link to the story by a reporter linked to a newspaper or online reputable blog that confirms your story that confirms that Sheridan broke a bone in his leg. Again, practice was yesterday.
EDIT: My apologies to you. You were right. I take back the "banning" comment.
The only other place on the net reporting Sheridan broke a leg is the mlive message boards, based on speculation. They had practice yesterday. Don't you think we would have heard something from Angelique or a reporter at this point?
If he's right, well full marks to him. If not, he's a troll that should be banned.
Calm down.
FYI: The majority of people DO have better things to do with their lives than create fake accounts on opponents' blogs and then report rumors. I'm not saying you should trust everything you read here, but you also shouldn't start yelling "TROLL TROLL TROLL" just because Angelique Chengelis hasn't confirmed it yet.
...unless it's indeed confirmed. We do have a lot of these "rumors" turn out to be true, but from the most recent legitimate updates (including video) Sheridan and Cone are both healthy, and as mentioned this member joined today. Believe it when it comes from a reputable source, or start to believe it when a more reputable member confirms that this is even a rumor (and not just a lie)
Sheridan is injured.
...can Threet stay and play?
We've got Feagin.
Furrha coming in too.
I think Tate better get the green jersey, now.
to rescind Threet's transfer request?
must have been injured in an off the field incident because you cant hit the QB in practice
Pierre Woods agrees.
Because players NEVER break bones when making cuts and nobody EVER trips accidentally and rolls on someone's leg and nobody EVER gets overzealous and hits the QB anyway.
Yep. He must have slipped on some ice. That's the only explanation.
You gots to chill, yo.
You're right. Absurd comments shouldn't be rebuked.
Again, chill. Also I am pretty sure the first comment was sarcasm. So once more, chill. No need to get all crazy.
Okay, so let's assume you're right that the first comment was sarcasm.
I responded with sarcasm.
So what's there to chill about? I'm not worked up. I didn't call him names.
YOU NEED TO CHILL, YOU *$#^!^$^%#&%*$*#Q$Y%OYROYRYR%^%#&%$Q)^%^%#)Q%)Q!!!!!
You obviously thought that comment was sincere based on your reaction and now that you re-read it with a cool head you have realized that it was sarcasm. Maybe you could try that re-reading with a cooler head tactic with all comments? Then I wouldn't have any reason to tell you to chill out.
Of all the possible comments on this board, my sarcastic response (whether his was sarcastic or serious) is not one you should latch onto and say "chill out."
Chill out, Magnus.
We just had like a 500-post conversation about how you think I should chill out.
We're lame.
Indeed. I should be doing something else right now.
...but did he have to go all Tanya Harding on them?
All the breaks (pun intended) have gone in Tate's favor. It happened in his recruitment as he saw the Newsome decommit giving him the opening to verbal. And then with the decommit of Beaver. He grads early and comes in to get experience and now this. The path is wide open for him. I think he relishes this.
The path is TOO fucking wide open!
Dont worry! This year doesnt mean anything. It only counts when MUNCHIE LEGAUX is our starting quarterback. Mark it daow that he wins 4 consecutive Heisman trophis, 4 national championships, and a perfect 46-0 record as a starter. You heard it here first.
(sarcasm, for those who can't tell)
Doesn't the red jersey mean anything anymore? FML.
