OT: RIP Verne Troyer
Mini Me actor and Michigan mega-fan, Verne Troyer dead at 49. RIP to a legend.
Death always knows where you are...
Even if you're too small to see using conventional eyesight, apparently...
The grim reaper is after everyone. Eventually he will catch you and there is no place to hide.
You're full of joy, this morning...
Really a shame. Seemed like a good human being.

RIP Verne. You complete me.
I saw him at a Michigan game, I believe it was the 1999 game against Notre Dame. He had a field pass and walked by the student section.
Oh man - what a bummer.
One of my favorite movie lines from Michael Caine when Mini-Me dropped his pants..."it looks like a baby's arm holding an apple".
RIP.
that's the last line from "What Do You Want From Life" by The Tubes
Wow. Unexpected and sad.
From The Guardian's article on his passing:
The family statement did not give a cause of death but it added: “Depression and suicide are very serious issues. You never know what kind of battle someone is going through inside. Be kind to one another. And always know, it’s never too late to reach out to someone for help.”

that Vern had a serious alcohol problem he'd been battling for years. Earlier this week he was admitted to a hospital with possible alcohol poisoning and had been saying he wanted to kill himself. Very sad indeed.
Psychological issues to encounter on an individual basis.
Dealing with all three is a mountain too high to climb and it's ashame that this was the end result.
We lost a good Wolverine fan.
1) Michigan
2) whoever was playing Notre Dame
Always loved that Apple Computer commercial he did with Yao Ming
RIP big guy

So sad!
Barbara Bush, Earle Bruce, Avicii, and now Verne Troyer.
Not a great week on the celebrity front guys.
WARNING: Jack Gleeson's self-depecating comment that his speech to the Oxford Union on the commodification of celebrity would be "boring" shouldn't undermine his commentary. If you hated Joffrey Baratheon on HBO's Game of Thrones, then this speech from the actor who portrayed him, Philosophy and Theology student at Trinity College, Dublin Jack Gleeson, might come as a surprise.
