Crystal ball for 2020 top100 QB
247sports.com Director Steve Wiltfong put in a crystal ball in favor of the good guys for 2020 QB Harrison Bailey. For those who follow recruiting, he is considered "The Guy" for predictions, so this seems notable. Bailey is ranked the #68 player in 2020 and is the #2 ranked Pro-style QB. He plays for Marrietta High School in Georgia, who is home to multiple 4 and 5 stars recruits. If this prediction sticks, he would be one hell of a pickup for that 2020 class, and could headline the offensive side of the ball for what could be a possible top 5-10 class.
First reported by Steve Lorenz of 247. I do not have VIP, so I just looked to find this info out myself.

Edit: I just came across an interview from the Michigan insider. It seems as if he is familiar with the Pattersons. Shea gave him some advice and is a slight fan of his. He is also friends with Sheas younger brother Nick, who is a 2020 recruit at TE.

It's still a long way away. Good sign, but still long way away. You know that Georgia and basically every southern school will put on a full court press to get him there. A good season this year will go a long way to get him though.
This kid has been on the hype radar for a long time. If you watch his highlights, he has the best motions and mechanics outta the 2020 class. He was considered to be a possible 5-star candidate early on and I think he may be a kid to rise up instead of fall.
This isn't in doubt, no one that reads this site shouldn't understand that every statistical look at ratings validates them in general terms. Obvuoiusly they can and are off on an individual, but overall the debate closed long ago.
McCaffrey was the #1 QB in his class until football season started and he stopped going to the camps. He lad his team to a state championship, instead. He went to the Opening, and lit up the competition in the 7v7 tourney. He looked average in the specific skill categories during Elite 11 part of it because he didn't practice any of that stuff - because he didn't go to all o fthe camps.
I'm not worried one bit about McCaffrey's place in the rankings - as far as I'm concerned, he's still the #1 QB in his class.
Yet you opened up this thread. So it appears that maybe you COULD still care a bit less
I... I... wait.... could you say that again?
He cares! He CARES!
I care about that girl in your picture.
he sounds like a pre madonna
Go Sweden!
This kid is going Blue. Every other school on his offer list sucks. Except Alabama. Not a quarterback school. If Shey plays this year, Harrison will be blue balls by December.
I can't here anything.
Yeah, it's like a cow's opinion. It doesn't matter. It's MOO
But it's quickly become too mind bottling for me.
I think it's time to nip this discussion in the butt.
That's a piece of good news in itself.
I want that wind to have a heading of Michigan on signing day.
Do you have any insider info to make us feel assured that wind is Blue?
And further proof that last year‘s recruiting class ranking was an anomaly. Wiltfong is a very reliable recruiting guru - even though this is merely a crystal ball for 2020. After recent recruiting news with quarterbacks and watching the Amazon documentary series with great coaching and culture, I am looking at M football very optimistically.
Would have a lot more confidence if he didn't live in Georgia. You know that full court press is coming especially now that a northern school is in on his recruitment.
He has an impressive offer sheet. I don't think those on the offer sheet will drop pursuing him. Long way to go.
Here's hoping Chris Partridge seals the deal!
I liked it too when I saw Chris Partridge was the recruiter.
Indeed, his offer sheet is impressive. I noticed this as well. Will Michigan's prestige be enough to sway him from those other fine schools to Ann Arbor's confines? Only time will tell.
Great Scott!!!
Sweet Christmas!
Cool Beans!
Cool
If that comes to fruition he could be the cornerstone to an awesome class.
