OT: Penn State wins NIT.
Now when Michigan wins the NCAA the BIG will have two champions.
...but that's because they don't know how to evaluate teams.
PSU was around 29 or 30 in kenpom on selection Sunday. Would've been an 8 or 9 seed going by kenpom.
Of course, I'm not upset because that school and their fanbase can go F themselves.
Whoever said they shouldn't win anything, ever again is speaking my language.

that is a rather bizarre winning streak to have. But PSU has that 10-game streak. Hey - you can't spell Nittany without NIT.
Anyway, a random fact for the superstitous:
The only other team in history to have a 10-game NIT winning streak is South Carolina. They won their 10th straight NIT game in 2006 - later that year, a team from the same conference won the NCAA. That is the last time teams from the same conferences won the NIT and NCAA.
So .... for the highly superstitous, that may be a sign that Michigan's going to win the NCAA! Good luck. :-)

Epic post.
That 2006 final was a clash of the NIT titans - defending champ South Carolina going against Tommy Amaker's Michigan (2004 champs). Both teams had actually won nine consecutive games in the NIT.
That South Carolina run was funny. Winning 1 NIT title can be, dependent on circumstances, a good thing. Sort of like winning the Pinstripe Bowl. It's never the goal for any individual season, but there are worse ways to end a season.
But winning back-to-back NIT titles --- that's the type of thing that makes your rivals mock you.
On a tangent - if you want to see something really sad, hit this link below. When Rutgers joined the conference, BTN had "Rutgers Day." 2 of the games they showed were the Pinstripe Bowl and an NIT semifinal win! For Rutgers, those are the high points of their athletic history.

This shows that B1G isn't as weak as people thought, and certainly not as weak as the Missouri Valley. Loyola is tough though

Maybe we'll get a 1 seed now.
Oh, wait . . . we de-facto do!
Evidently there is some serious animosity between Michigan and Penn State bloggers.

Started out a little funny, ended up just kind of being an asshole.

Any other big 10 team could win besides Perp State or Larry Nassar U. I just can't be happy for either of those schools or fanbases... Que Debbie Downer theme.
