Big Mo shows class and sportsmanship after dramatic win over Houson.

Although this has been posted a couple times now, we'll leave this, I think, because seeing Michigan players display class never, ever gets old, at least not to me. I really liked seeing Wagner go over and be gracious to a guy who was probably absolutely crushed after a game like that.

If a topic is no longer on the MGoBoard on the right or in the active posts listed on the first page of the forum, how does one see what was previously posted. I have tried to see if a topic is posted, but the only info I can grab is from two options listed above.
It's on the right navigation panel just under the "Beveled Guilt" button. Easy peasy...
Edit: If it were working, that is. smh
Which is why the constant complaints of something being previously posted are stupid. If you can't access the old conversations, then you shouldn't get crucified for posting something that is no longer on the MGoBoard sidebar.
Even if search worked, this is not a reason to get upset. If someone has to search for a forum topic and then go and read each topic to make sure it isn't relevant, then the cost of posting new content becomes too high. Also, if someone makes a post in a no longer relevant thread, then what is the point of posting in that thread. It's just a waste of time.
I use is this:
- Is the date of posting this article/story older than 36 hours? If so, it's likely been posted/discussed.
- I use the MGoBoard side bar to check topics, and I "Open in a New Tab" the next page of MGoBoard topics. If it's not on the first 2-3 pages of topics, then you're prob good.
- When in doubt, just sit on it and lurk.

My apologies for being a repeater. I wasn't online yesterday, this morning I looked through the history and didn't see this covered.
At the risk of a neg-avalanche, I thought it was worthy. Classy coach, classy players.

It seems Michigan Men learn much more than what they can teach in a class room .

wouldn't you like it? I'm sure it didn't do anything to make what had transpired hurt less, but it was one person showing support for another person during a difficult time. What's not to like? It is not like Michigan and Houston are bitter enemies and Davis and Wagner had been scuffling all game to the extent that it could have been misinterpreted as snark. It was a sincere attempt to pick somebody up. I don't really think there is a "not like it" option here.
I think any hesitation you saw from Davis to respond or accept Wagner's support was because it is not particularly common for an athlete to be thinking about a member of the other team while the rest of their team continues to celebrate. #theMichigandifference

I wouldn't like it. After losing like that on a substantially smaller stage (rec ball playoffs), I just want to be left alone. I find it incredibly easy to be classy after winning and I almost respect the losing team enough to not say much and just let them take time.

I'm not buying it. To each their own, but it is possible that Wagner said something there that was helpful to him in getting him through that moment. It is good sportsmanship. Kind of a lost art. It is good to see it in practice.

Easy to be classy in a win. At that moment in time, when I'm absolutely gutted and probably sick/angry, I don't want to see someone from the other team come talk to me. Maybe after some time passes, but not right after. It's quasi-insulting for me.
But, that's just me.

think it probably has to do with Wagner's nationality. People in a lot of other countries are just like, nice..... to each other and it isn't seen as insulting or potentially confrontational.

Anything to do with nationality. I see it every day in sports, that's what we do.
I know Mo had nothing but good will in his heart, I totally get it. I'm just speaking on the perspective from the Houston guy. I don't want someone from the winning team after 10 seconds of having my heart ripped out pat me on the back.

Is it really that easy to be classy after a win?
Mark D'antoni (Dan's other brother?) says hi.
It was just a small gesture of respect after a hard, close game. In the middle of a wild celebration (which the Houston player surely wasn't enjoying) Mo took minute to acknowledge that the opponent was an equal - classy and you almost never see it hese days beyond the perfuntory line handshake.

isn't on the Board anywhere right now and the Search function is completely screwed. If it is not on the screen you really have no way to detect whether something has been posted.

Damn. I have never seen a guy with so much class. He is the classiest gut that ever classed.

It adds to the positive PR Michigan and Coach Beilein deserve. Mo's Mom must have been so proud of him too after that.
Unfortunately, you don't see enough of this great sportsmanship and classy behavior any more. This should be one of the things sports is about.
