Prep school pays dividends for Adrien Nunez
2018 Michigan signee Adrien Nunez took a chance on himself to forgo entering college during the 2017 season and, instead, elect to attend a prep school for one year in order to receive more on-court experience.
Nunez's decision to attend a prep year might be the best decision he's ever made. It's a decision that has now allowed him to prepare to head to Ann Arbor later this year.
"I would probably still be in the Big Ten since I had some schools offering for 2017," Nunez said. "Michigan is definitely the ideal place for me just because of the types of players that the coaching staff recruits and the success that they have had with players like me."

maybe the prep school was an investment opportunity with a good return, and Nunez was clever enough to take advantage. I was going to ask for the ticker and look up the yield!

A smart prep school would hedge high risk/high return securities by adding derivatives to his portfolio.

what you did there
Always thought it sucked. I mean how do you threaten anyone when your nickname is a color not even on the regular color chart and the worst thing you could do to them is leave them alone. The Maroons left Fair Lawn home alone after beating them 65-45 Friday night. Or we could have been viewed as actively engagd in the desertton process by being called Marooners.

These were rare opportunites because DDC was so successful at sports, but the headline writers seized them when they were available, e.g. "St. Mary abuses Divine Child."
Me fail English? That's Unpossible!
Well, if you live here in Wayne County in Michigan, the current climate is cold and kind of damp, or is that not what we're going for in this case? I mean, if Nunez really wants to change the climate in general, it will likely require more than a collegiate basketball career, but maybe not - who knows, eh?
lol. make something out of nothing.

....you are so right! Seeing as it is tax season, the OP should have made it clear as to whether these are "qualified" dividends, which are taxed at the capital gains rate, or "nonqualified" dividends, which are taxed at the ordinary income rate. The nerve of some people!!!
/smh

To be fair, if your married filing jointly, they're taxed at 0% if your taxable income is less than $75,900.

This doesn't seem any different than Brian quoting and linking an article in a UV.

"That guy"
When you have a chance to be "That guy", resist the urge.
He started playing basketball at 14 years old and already can shoot the ball from anywhere. Great form and elevation which is ideal.
I expect him to play right away due to his shooting and will backup Poole at SG. He's going to be really good at Michigan when all is said and done

Beacuse it gave Michigan time to find a scholarship for him. The benefit to him is that he gets to come to Michigan, rather than some other B1G wannabe...
