Baumgardner predicts OSU blowout
Excerpt if you don't want to click:
If there's any paint left on the walls inside Michigan's offensive line room, there shouldn't be. The Wolverines' front five has now watched two different starting quarterbacks leave games and head to the hospital. That's unacceptable. At some point, enough has to be enough. Say whatever you want about the quarterback situation in Ann Arbor, but until the offensive line can show an ability to keep a guy standing upright for more than two seconds at a time, nothing else will matter. It's gut check time for plenty of folks on this football team, but the offensive line comes first.
If Peters were healthy and his offensive line showed an ability to keep him clean, I'd give Michigan a chance. But neither appear to be true. The Wolverines will no doubt empty their tank Saturday. They'll give Ohio State everything they have. They may even scare the Buckeyes. But there's not enough proven evidence in 2017 that suggests it'll be enough.
Pick: Ohio State 31, Michigan 10

Honestly? That's a pretty fair assessment. Our QB injuries this year have been 100% on the offensive line's inability to pass protect, and Ohio State's DLine will be the best we have faced by some margin.

Baumgardner does not give a fuck.
That's not how you spell Buckeyes.

Taking hold of you, or something? Let the guy call them what he wants

It just looks stupid. Same as O$U or when MSU fans call us scUM or skunkbear or whatever. I've never found it clever or funny.

I'll tell you what looks stupid. Your whining about a fellow Michigan supporters method of exercising his distain for the suckeyes.

I'll never understand the mentality of people like you. I don't think I want to, either.

Not gonna disagree with your point that the OL has been bad. But both injuries happened on plays that I'd say were unnecessarily rough, especially the Speight injury. Of course the OL could have prevented both injuries by blocking better, but its a bit unfair to blame the OL when it was the Purdue defender who came in late and hit a defenseless Speight.
With regard to Peters, I think the way he was driven into the ground was arguably unnecessary roughness/roughing the passer, but that hit was at least cleanER than the Speight hit.

Any mgo-lawyers able to devise any way with video evidence to sue these damn sorry sons of bitches that are the B1G refs? I'd contribute to any kind of fund. The two hits going uncalled on the Michigan quarterbacks is just awful and sad. I'd be going after them hard if i were their fathers. We all know that no Michigan player would've ever got away with any those plays. Please someone sue the fuck out of them. Wilton's or Peter's parents. Anyone please, I beg you.

Calling that score is the easiest thing in the world...not much of a prediction.

I think Ohio State's offense is very vulnerable against strong defensive Lines. I can't see them scoring 31. I also cant see Michigan doing literally anything against the Buckeyes front 7. It truly is an incredible unit full of depth and pass rushing ability.
My final:
Ohio State 16
Michigan 3

I mean... he's good at his job. That's all there really is to it. Who fucking cares that he went to MSU? Gary Moeller went to OSU. Bo Schembechler coached at OSU. Des and Charles both came from Ohio.

Big ones for sure - O-line and QB - but if the O-line makes good adjustments and Peters plays and stays playing I think we have a solid shot. We were beating Wisconsin before Peters got hurt and it took some of the best throwing of Hornibrook's career for Wisconsin to score against us.

The air visibly went out of our sails after than injury. You can't conclude one way or the other.
November 24th, 2017 at 3:55 PM ^
Yeah, Wisky was up on us when he got hurt but it was still anyones game. The loss of Peters affected the team, you could see them deflate; we lost more than him on that play. Brandon was playing pretty good at that time, the whole team was; I liked our chances at that point. If he's playing tomorrow, I'll like our chances again.

only for other teams lol

Exactly.
When was the last time UM was on the receiving/good end of something crazy or unexpected happening against OSU or MSU?
November 24th, 2017 at 4:45 PM ^
It's probably been at least 22 years since something unexpected has happened against OSU.

Pretty much. I'm fully expecting something close to this, but desperately hoping for something resembling the OSU-Iowa game.

personally I don't hate them, just dislike. But I totally agree that we'd have a better shot without the Iowa game--they know their only possible shot at the playoff is to win tomorrow, so there will be no letup.

I'll be watching and rooting for UM like mad tomorrow, never going to give up supporting this team. But, my gut tells me this is going to be an absolute ass-ramming by OSU. Hope you prove me wrong boys!

Why wait though? I am going to start that process for the same reason in just a little bit. The kicker is going to be finding an interlude where I am sober enough to actually get myself to the game, so pacing will be key today.

Where does he see us scoring 10? Defensive touchdown perhaps? With JOK at the helm our offense is guaranteed to get shut out.

I know the stats say PSU's defense isn't that far behind OSU, but the things that OSU's defense isn't as good at are exactly the things an O'Korn led offense is incapable of taking advantage of. Urban's gunning for a playoff spot, and there's 0% chance he even considers taking his foot off the gas at any point. The only way we're scoring points is by the defense forcing a turnover or a big special teams play. If O'Korn ends up starting, I'd be surprised if we're much beyond 100 yards of total offense.
