Michigan opens as 5 point favorites @ Indiana

It's not like MSU lit us up, man. To hear the talk on here, you'd think this 4 point loss where we outgained the other team was a blowout loss. This was a very evenly matched game where we turned the ball over 5 times, mostly on increasingly desperate late drives in a downpour, and were largely screwed by giving up points off a fumble early and losing a TD to a stupid penalty.
Are there issues? Absolutely, the offense is hot garbage and there is a black hole at QB. But the whole "MSU is young too!" reasoning is silly considering how evenly matched we were. OSU was young last year and lost to every team they couldn't out-talent (except us, in heartbreaking fashion). The sky really isn't falling, it's just a bummer of a game to lose.

“Omg. Fire Harbaugh. Fire everyone. We should’ve won a national championship by now. I thought we’d just automatically beat our rivals every game. What are we going to do? Everyone on this planet is so stupid except for me because I want what I want and I’m not getting it right now and I dont deal well with that..”

Interesting how a bunch of people have registered in the past 24 hours, all with usernames combining a Michigan slogan with a 2-digit number, and all "concerned" about Harbaugh...

Yeah, it did come down to the last play.
Would have been lucky to get that one, and we might be lacking the players to make that catch in the end zone at the moment, but we were THAT close to pulling it out.

Oh, I forgot. He's already gone. Did he know something we didn't know?

shit happens, man
sometimes Oklahoma loses to Iowa State, shit just happens

Yeah, shit happens. But Oklahoma's coach isnt't an offseason sideshow like ours.

do you really, honestly, in the bottom of your heart believe we lost to MSU because Harbaugh took the team to Rome or whatever and not because we lost 11 starters and got into a shitty defeceit due to an ill timed fumble before a rainstorm?
I mean, Occam's Razor bruh

Providing you have a solid defense and special teams that won't cause you trouble. on offense you've gotta have the right factors- either a great QB, or a servicable QB who is surrounded by elite playmakers knows his own role and limits, and doesn't try to force things; and an offensive line competent to allow those playmakers excell.

We always have five turnovers and only outgain other team by 20%.

We scored 36 four weeks ago.

And Navy, Marshall, and UCF all scored more. UCF scored 51 against them.

We scored 33 five weeks ago.
The premise that our offense can never score more than 14 points has been completely discredited, why don't you just fuck off already?

The Sagarin Ratings math would work like this:
Michigan (85.73) - Indiana (75.61) - 1.97 = 8.15
So, using that system, Michigan is a one-possession favorite, which I would probably buy right now.

doesn't play well on the road unless they are playing Rutgers or Maryland. Indiana will be a diffcult game. O'Korn's confidence is shattered and we lack playmakers on offense. Factor in Michigan propensity to turn the ball over we probably will see a tight game.
IMO, he should play Peters. Can the offense be any worse with Peters at QB? By all acounts, he has the most skills of our QB's and all he needs is seasoning. I believe he gives us a good of chance of winning as does O'Korn.

"attack msu safeties deep"
deep route usually imply the QB has time to throw, which as we all know won't happen with the R side of the OL

Hopefully more. A good 30+ point beatdown would ease the fanbase and give the team some conifdence going into Happy Valley.
That's what happens to Meyer's opponents after OSU loses including us in 2015.

next Saturday will be a very pleasant, unseasonably warm, sunny day in central Indiana. Unless things majorly change there should be no weather concerns.
With that said, I think Indiana is probably similar to Purdue in many ways..and so we *should* win but it won't be like we'd just destroy them. It'd be a respectable game for them.
