Rooting for MSU this game. ND losing always feels good, And if MSU wins this game, their happiness will be short until they play their Superbowl against us.
Edit: Nevermind MSU is fun to watch when imploding

for a comment on a 3:30 game. Interesting play in the Okie State-TCU game. TCU punted. TCU player hits the ball to keep it from going in the endzone. OSU player subsequently touches it. TCU recovers. Now, I know that in that event you get your choice of where it was touched or take the play. BUT, that doesn't apply if the receiving team commits a penalty, which OSU did. So, TCU ball. A wrinkle on a wrinkle. I didn't know about the penalty exception.

knowing Michigan is 4 and 0 going into "improvement week". Very satisfying win today.
Our defense rocks, rules, and plays CLEAN hard football.

Nothing like watching the night games after a Michigan win. It's almost as relaxing as watching the game is nerve wracking.

That first targeting wasn't malicous. It just happens and actually Metellus kind of did the exact same thing late in the game. Guy is going down and moves into your "strike zone."
The second one, ab-so-fucking-lutely! That kid should've been kicked out for stupidity if nothing else. He literally launched at O'Korn's head.

trying just drilling a defenseless receiver, it is 100% malicious. Yes, he may not have been wanting to hit the guy in the head, per se, but he certainly wanted to hurt him. There was no play on the ball, it was only an attempt to hurt a guy and make him think twice about going over the middle.
And that's fine, that's part of the game, defenders try to hurt guys. But that's the defintion of malicious.

Michigan up to #7 because of the OkState loss. Small chance UM moves all the way up to #5 after tonight's games.

Kickoff returner muffed it and almost took a safety. First play, the RB housed it.

I'm just so happy we made it to this bye week. It's so nice to take this young team, slow things down, and figure some things out.
I love the matchup against MSU - I expect a HUGE win over Sparty.

If you would have asked anyone one month ago how we would feel about Michigan being 4 & 0 going into "improvement" week with the young team, most of us would have said "perfect" and left it at that. Our defense is playing lights out.

I hope more networks use the wide-angle, all-22 view like Fox just did with the Michigan game. Being able to see the whole field on a play makes such a big difference while watching.
September 23rd, 2017 at 8:18 PM ^
the only shot you'll see in the coaches' feed in the ESPN megawatch games. Seeing the defensive backfield really helps make sense out of the QB play.

I know that people complain about Kirk as a color guy, but holy crap is it nice to hear him call this game. Brady Quinn is aggressively bad at his job.
September 23rd, 2017 at 8:18 PM ^
I think he just doesn't like Michigan very much because they nearly killed him twice.
September 23rd, 2017 at 8:20 PM ^
...he's better at this job than he was at the first job he took out of college.

Harbaugh said Speight had a 'soft tissue' injury. Not sure how long he'll be out.
