we might have lost this game. O'Korn keep our defense off the field so they were very fresh in defensing Purdue. Any word on Speight?

Listening to the Radio Brandstatter said Speight had returned to the stadium following an off site evaluation. For what it's worth.

PSU was a second half team last year and won the B1G. Let's replicate that.

So Michigan's offensive line has struggled with run blocking and recognizing complex blitzes from the second level.
So let's keep running into 10 man boxes on first and second down and setting up 3rd and long.
The offensive play calling in the first half today (and at too many times against Cincinnati and Air Force) did the defense's job for it in exploiting its own weaknesses. Typically, good coaching seeks to offset execution weaknesses with play-calling designed to compensate for the deficiencies and we're spending far too much time watching the opposite.
Last year it was widely circulated that Drevno called most plays with Fisch and Harbaugh splitting about the other third. What is it now with Hamilton instead of Fisch? Still Drevno? Has Harbaugh assumed most of the play-calling duties with Drevno in the box?

I'd rather be a second half team than a first half team, just saying :)

Again killerseafood3, you are the person who was saying in the first half thread that Harbaugh is on the hot seat. Still feel that way?

Until the 2nd half of this game it seemed like JH had been taking a season long inspiration from Brady Hoke.

Back to back 10 win seasons and 4-0 this year. Facts. The object is to win the game, not satisfy your lust for style points in doing so.

Absolutely nothing about that post suggests he wants the team to lose 4 games. Honestly, this board sometimes... smh

The list of coaches as good or better than Harbaugh is small. 10? 12? All the people on that list who would take the Michigan job are listed below:

How could the coaches not have known Speight was broken (long before he got injured)? Does JOK just suck in practice?

His INT during the spring game was, as I remember, the result of him feeling pressure. The coaches, which measns Harbaugh, I believe really wanted Speight to get back on the horse and rid himself of his injury demons. Apparently it wasn't to be. Good thing O'Korn really was better than his limited game time had shown.

I really question the whole meritocracy thing given the situation at QB... It's like Harbaugh wants Speight to succeed to spite all the critics instead of actually making him earn the spot by having a legit QB battle through the season.
