Not wrong, though. $10 for a freaking pretzel is highway robbery.

Hand-molded by artisans who ground the flour themselves using only the finest Renaissance-era millstones, baked in a stone hearth, then drizzled in organic butter and dipped on small-batch sea salt from a historic saltery on the Mediterranean coast that's been producing salt since the 4th century.

finally have something in common.
FU Zingerman's and your unaffordable lunches!

Are you suggesting that our stadium food might not be up to the same quality as Zingerman's? Surely you jest.

are highway robbery. $5 for a bottle of water is an obscene rip off. It's significantly cheaper at the airport. $5.50 for a box of popcorn that probably runs them a few pennies to make plus the cost of the box.

Do they still have the free water stations from Absopure?
September 8th, 2017 at 9:08 PM ^
Yeah, so you can carry a cup of water and spill it all the way down to your seat. Not a valid substitute.
If I'm hitting the water stand, it's a quick jaunt up to house three cups at their tent and then head back to my seat with one more, which usually doesn't even last 10 rows of stairs.

I took my 4, 6 and 7 year olds to the Colorado game this past year along with my friend's 16 year old (to help). The $85 I spent on candy to get the kids through the second half was the best money I ever spent.

It's probably artisanal, locally sourced, farm-to-table, organic, gluten-free and non GMO
September 8th, 2017 at 3:14 PM ^
mass-produced, high-fructose corn syrup filled, high cholesterol, GMO based, crappy pretzel dough from Gordon Foods.

GMO-based mean?
September 9th, 2017 at 10:03 AM ^
"What is a GMO?
Genetically modified organisms (GMOs) are living organisms whose genetic material has been artificially manipulated in a laboratory through genetic engineering. This creates combinations of plant, animal, bacteria, and virus genes that do not occur in nature or through traditional crossbreeding methods.
Most GMOs have been engineered to withstand the direct application of herbicide and/or to produce an insecticide. However, new technologies are now being used to artificially develop other traits in plants, such as a resistance to browning in apples, and to create new organisms using synthetic biology. Despite biotech industry promises, there is no evidence that any of the GMOs currently on the market offer increased yield, drought tolerance, enhanced nutrition, or any other consumer benefit."

The nice thing about the $10 pretzel is that it's going to make you thirsty, costing you another $10 for a soda. (Is that what it costs now? I have no idea. I haven't been to any game of any kind for years. Except little league baseball, and I can get a pretzel and a coke there for $2, total.)

Now that I've seen it I can only wonder why it wasn't done sooner.

I love pretzels, but unless my size scale for the picture is all off, that does not seem to be very big at all. $10 seems pretty steep for that.
