Det News article on Fred Jackson's roles (football coach, assistant AD) at Ypsi High
Following in the steps (somewhat) of Elliot Uzelac at Benton Harbor, Fred Jackson is the football, assistant AD, and dean of students at Ypsilanti High School.

OP Jasper brings the news with the brevity of Hemingway and the accuracy of V.S. Naipaul.

He's like Da Vinci, but with two ears
Jackson hyperbole jokes aside, it's really nice to see him giving back to a nearby community. Per the article, he is setting a great example for the kids (not just the football players) at Ypsi High, and will undoubtedly get a few kids "on track" that may have fallen by the wayside without his involvement.
There's more to life than Ws and Ls, and Jackson gets that. I miss his talent evaluations, but it's great to see him putting effort into a low-visibility position.
Thanks to the OP for posting!
so he's no longer substitute teaching? someone find the original post!
I honestly don't think he was the problem with our RB's in the last couple of years of his tenure here. He just didn't have the talent or O-line needed to be successful. Hope he excels.
