OT: Florida kicker kicks 81 yard field goal
Eddy Pineiro boots an 81 yard field goal! Granted it was off a tee with no pads or game pressure but that is still pretty dang impressive following a 77 yarder that he kicked a couple of years ago.
Eddy Pineiro > Quinn Nordin ?
Nordin's leg has looked equally as impressive, especially on the "could have been good from 60 plus" in the spring game.
I'll take accuracy over leg strength any day of the week but the latter is a plus IMHO! Eddy also has the accuracy chops to go with the leg strength.

With both defenses being very good to great this game could come down to a kicker showdown.
Hopefully not, because...#collegekickers
Good for them, seeing how they will not likely be able to get the ball pass midfield against us.
If coach had put me in we'd have won state. I could throw the ball over them mountains.....
You're still living too much in '82 man
Had I had this information 30 minutes ago, I would've proposed we boot out Indiana and replace them with Eddy Pineiro. Not his entire team, just him and his magic leg alone.
Someone able to score 81 yard FGs is probably going to be more competitive than Rutgers.
You are giving Rutgers far too much credit.
But whatever, you're on a roll...
We're not THAT drunk!
I look forward to Mcelwain's reaction on the sideline when this kid misses a FG attempt against us in September.
I am sure he would be most enthusiastic if his team defeated the Wolverines of the University of Michigan because his kicker of field goals accurately kicked an oblong goal through a large H during the ultimate moments of the American football contest...
about sharks?
thanks for reminding everyone about that (and his creepy grin)
Are the flames coming out of his ass or does the back of the football have rockets? These are important questions that need to be answered.

Not off a tee. He used a stand. It is very impressive that he kicked that off the ground. With that said, that trajectory of a kick would get blocked 100% of the time.
I didn't see a tee. It looks like it was pretty windy but can't tell if it was a tailwind or not. Very impressive nonetheless.
But winds were gusting 30+ mph. If he can kick 50+ in a game, sign him up.
42-9......No biggie
His head coach may actually give him an in-game chance to make that 81-yard field goal!
So basically he did a kick off from the 30yd line and it happened to go thru the goal posts. While I admit that is very impressive, with a little wind I have seen kickoffs sail thru the goalposts on many occasions. This is only 6 yds further back. Nice kick, but in no way does this equate to a 81yd "field goal".
As I recall the first year the NFL moved the kick off back to the 30 in the mid 90s Jason Hanson put one through the uprights serval times.
This isn't off a tee, people keep saying that. It had one of those metal holders but it was off grass. Its impressive because it shows his leg strength and he can probably hit a 60 yarder in a game.
This was not. If you simply click the link you will see the video of him kicking the ball off of the GRASS. smh people
eats 14 waffles.
This would immediately become the most interesting topic posted today.
Competition as it stands currently:
- Frank Clark tweets dumb tweet
- I made shit up on a video game
- I'm mocking the video game guy
- Kicker makes a practice FG
Let's talk waffles. Please.
when the most talked about post was the naked McElwain lookalike dude who humped a shark
Man, this OT season is brutal so far....
BELGIAN WAFFLES
be high enough to clear the line... but I have to say, that looks like it had a shot. Pat McAfee used to kick 75 yarders in the off-season regularly (probably why he had to retire early), but those had such a low trajectory that it was cool, but not that cool.
Hopefully we repeat the last time we played the gators
