Terrelle Pryor on Pep Hamilton
Quick interview with former Buckeye Terrelle Pryor on our new AC/OC Pep Hamilton. Looks like Harbaugh found another winner and someone that can also develop WRs better than Zach Smith (although that's not very hard).

if he spent more time coaching and less time on social media he would make some progress with their WR's.

I talked to Hue Jackson a few weeks ago and he was pretty salty that we are "stealing [his] best coaches", so definitely a great pickup!
February 7th, 2017 at 10:44 AM ^
Wait, we stole more than one coach from the Browns? And how do you know Hue Jackson?
February 7th, 2017 at 12:34 PM ^
Well, no, only Pep, but he was just saying he was one of their best coaches. I'm "loosely" related to him and he was at my grandpa's funeral.

This guy likes quotes.

Sorry for your loss.

Whether he has nice things to say or not. How can I respect someone's opinion if I don't respect them as a person? I dunno...
February 7th, 2017 at 10:41 AM ^
Why don't you respect him as a person? Just for going to OSU?
February 7th, 2017 at 11:09 AM ^
yeah?
February 7th, 2017 at 11:32 AM ^
You obviously haven't read his research paper on research. Maybe you don't remember the whole free cars/tatoo saga, or the way he left and went in the supplemental draft.
February 8th, 2017 at 8:06 AM ^
Pryor was obviously integral in the downfall of Tressel at OSU but you could also say he caused the Rich Rod debacle in Ann Arbor. Our AD thought that if Pryor was considering going to West Virginia just to play for Rich Rod, by hiring Rich Rod we could flip him to Michigan and take him away from OSU. Rich Rod probably even said as much in his interview. So we hired Rich Rod but Pryor didn't follow. The rest is misery....

Was an absolute beast on the field for the sorry Browns this year. Great to see somebody make such a successful transition from QB to WR and produce the way he did, as quickly as he did. Don't have to like the guy even a little bit but you can't deny the production.
And as always F ohio

I can tell you that whatever he's doing or saying on the field sure pissess off opposing teams CBs that's for sure. I mean when this dude thinks you're an asshole....you must be really be an asshole. Also may be why the Browns arent rushing to give him a big fancy new contract anytime soon.

I'd advise you to do some research on the subject. Oh, you probably didn't think to do that because you've never read his eye opening paper on the subject of research:
Terrelle Pryor
Research is the most used resource to finding out something you need from school papers to things you want to buy. Research is also used to find cheaper shopping supplies. For instance one store may have had a pricey type of material one was looking for and the other store you researched was a couple dollars cheaper. Coming out of high school I was thinking to my self what I wanted to do for a living and what I wanted to major in to start the quest for my job. Research is also used to find shopping cheaper shopping supplies.
I used the research process to find out what type of job specific major I wanted to major in and what type of job I wanted to do when I graduated from college. I researched different types of jobs, Criminal justice, business, communications, and education. I came up with criminal justice but couldn’t decide between business and criminal justice. I did research on business and did their pros and cons. Then, I did the pros and cons of criminal justice. I came up with in the business world you can either have a good chance at the type of business you want to start or a bad business that won’t sell or bring in money.
Another part of my research I did was the most important factors in the business, was what they want for what they can afford and is there a profit that can help me out to make some extra money. The availability of the job openings, the job entails, the pay hours. I looked up also whether I would have to be in school for along time or not to get a job. Also my personal enjoyment in the job would I love to do every day I woke up to go to work.
With out research I would not have been able to get these types of information for the job that I want to do for the rest of my life. If one would just go and do something with out researching first they could’ve missed something that could have later benefited later on or benefited one more then the other.

I was hoping it was going to be more along the lines of, "Look, everybody coaches, man....coaches up you, coaches up me....". I can only say that I am a bit disappointed that Pryor didn't choose a variation on a classic line. Worse, a line of his creation.

between wanting to automatically dismiss anything that idiot has to say.
and
Wanting to believe all the great things we keep hearing about Hamilton.

All athletes give the platitudes about hard work, football mind, all-business, etc. Interviewers never give hard behavioral job interview type questions like, "can you tell me about a time Pep taught you something that really benefitted your game?" Something that might reveal something about Pep. Softballs are fun too though.

That's probably the most intelligent, coherent thing that has ever come out of Pryor's mouth.
I can only imagine what Hamilton will be able to do when he gets his hands on players who actually have some semblance of intelligence.
February 7th, 2017 at 12:23 PM ^
usually it goes like this:
Michigan finally crafts a good spread O-line . . . hires Manball coach
Michigan loses Devin Gardner . . . hires Jim MF Harbaugh.
This time we land 5 very good to absolutely elite WRs AND we hire Pep Hamilton.
Wrap that man in bubble wrap stat!

February 7th, 2017 at 4:14 PM ^
Wow. That was actually thoughtful, honest and non-douchey. He clearly holds Pep in high regard.
February 7th, 2017 at 6:50 PM ^
Terrelle Pryor also mentioned that he thinks Pep stole things and murdered some people, but that's okay because we all do that.
Another fine example of an Ohio S quarterback going on to become a wide receiver/philosopher.
