And there it is. Welp.

Gotta find my bottle of pepto...

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But an unofficial +1. Made me laugh.

Not trying to be all in your personal business, but how exactly is he going to extrat the Pepto from you?

So here's a question... who buys the flights for these guys when they move? Can the schools pay for it or do they have to cover the moving costs themselves? I guess I'm wondering if he could have a ticket purchased by Bama and one puchased by UM? Not that I really had that much hope this was really happening anyway but the question popped into my head.

Per Orbitz, flights from San Antonio to Birmingham via American Airlines nearly all have a lay-over at DTW. A Delta flight also has a first leg to DTW. Other airlines stop at IAH instead.
I have no idea what is going on, but it would be hilarious if Tua and Najee were playing everyone with them flying the same first leg out, and only Tua continuing to Birmingham.

Those American flights are thru DFW, not DTW... just fyi.

That makes a lot more sense...can't see why you'd go to Detroit. But Dallas is obviously a major hub.
You probably take a little prop plane over the Dallas to board something a little bigger to Birmingham.

Good call. Gotta get these 'crootin-colored glasses checked out...!

Different sport, situation, ect
BUT this gives me JB flashbacks. Powerhouse SEC, Michigan and Cal for a top 5 star recruit. In this case he may be trolling both Harbaugh and Saban to give Cal some shine (maybe Tosh will be DC after Bama is done) and be the next Marshawn while playing at home.
i'll put my tinfoil hat back on now
January 4th, 2017 at 3:04 PM ^
Well, that seems pretty damn unlikely, but I will say if Najee is going anywhere besides M, Cal would be an awesome choice!

What makes me question this assertion is disbelief that a future teammate would casually break the commitment news when Najee had carefully guarded his thought process on this for so long.

He has made it abundantly clear that his "commitment" to Bama isn't a "commitment" in any sense of the word as it's commonly understood.

who would keeping Michigan or Cal hanging if he already has decided on Alabama. He is much more mature than that.
Also, consider this. Bama has on its roster eight highly touted RB's all underclassmen. Included is Scarbrough who ran over a good Washington team. If Najee wants playing time, he will have to leap frog over all these highly regarded backs. SABAN DOES NOT PROMISE PLAYING TIME TO ANY RECRUIT.
January 4th, 2017 at 6:02 PM ^
Neither does Harbaugh.

not exactly hard to look at Michigan's running back depth chart and say "I can beat all these dudes out".
I mean, Chris Evans is an H-Back/Playmaker in the Curtis Samuel role, he's not getting 25-30 carries a game.
Kareem Walker/Karan Higdon/Drake Johnson/Kingston Davis? I'd be pretty confident if I were Najee. Harbaugh doesn't need to promise playing time, he can slide the depth chart across the table.
January 5th, 2017 at 6:24 AM ^
will get 30 carries a game under Harbaugh. True freshman starter and probably a cornerstone for a future championship run. Only if we flip him though

This is getting ridiculous.
Why would this kid leak that info though if they are so close? I mean, it's believable but let the kid announce it how he wants.
Kind of just feel bad for him now.
January 4th, 2017 at 1:32 PM ^
I thought that was kind of what Harris wanted, to just show up and let people figure it out rather than announce it??

The unknown is the catalyst to all the craziness. If he was truly set on Bama meaning what Tua said was true, and was trying to calm the craziness, wouldn't he just say "im stick with bama"?
Seems like the media would just leave him alone regarding the UM-UA talk.

That could actually be a thing if Harris himself didn't already say (and this is big because he obviously goes out of his way to not talk to the media) that he was undecided, and that it was between Alabama, Michigan, and Cal.
This didn't all just come about because he took a visit to Michigan, causing everyone on this side to freak out like he was coming here. There was a real shot of him coming to Michigan, even though he never formally decommitted.

I think a better thought would be...
They're on the same flight to Dallas.
Where Tua will get off the plane and go to Birmingham on another flight and Najee will get off the plane and go to Detroit on another flight.
Tua would still be correct that they're on the same flight. Just two different destinations.
January 4th, 2017 at 1:40 PM ^
They are on a flight from SFO to TCL (Tuscaloosa) with a connection in DTW. Both have no checked luggage and will probably not continue on to Tuscaloosa. Commence celebration!
January 4th, 2017 at 1:49 PM ^
They are in San Antonio (SAT), not San Francisco (SFO).
TCL is a regional airport that "no longer has commercial air service" per the airport website.

Alabama QB commit Tua Tagovailoa told 247Sports that Harris and him were “on the same flight,” from San Antonio to Birmingham on Sunday.
