WTKA Roundtable 12/22/2016: Okay Coach K
44 minutes
Relative glory [Adam Glanzman]
Things discussed
- Brian’s wife likes wrestling and American cheese.
- Grayson Allen and the arrogance of Mike Krzyzewski. Craig Ross shares the Jamal Crawford/Carlos Boozer story (the difference was Michigan reported it)
- Discussion on how schools handle discipline (pre-Perry news). Video makes the difference with Joe Mixon, shouldn’t.
- Stoops has a good track record; some coaches don’t, so should coaches get watched on this?
- Players leaving before bowl games: It bugs Brian, Ed is disappointed. The players have the leverage: how will they use it?

Just basically that the Boozer/Crawford "benefits" situations were similar - with Boozer's maybe being worse - and only Crawford was suspended because Michigan self-reported and Duke did not.

Bob's track record here isn't as sterling as you might believe. See...Doral Green-Beckham...see Dede Westbrook..see Dusty Dvoracek.

It was a bummer that such a meaningless topic hogged such a large portion of the hour and it was frustrating to hear Brian struggle to keep the group on better topics.
I for one say leave all the Grayson Allen-type topics to Eric Adelson. Thanks Brian for doing your best to keep on good topics

At first glance, I thought the first bullet point read "Brian's wife likes wrestling American cheese".
